Roberto Carlosesque free kick. Unbelievable! The lone highlight I saw of Glenses was him catching a keeper off his line from center mid. Bruised and battered, but earned that point. Disappointing not to hold the lead, but Vela was nullified in the second half. Great game by Blake. They showed heart, grit and promise. Jesus, 1AM.
Dang, the U showed some cahones on this field tonight. I’ll take it! That Glenses kick was incredible.
Hollywood entertainment. Could not stay up but enjoyed the highlights. Looking forward to many more entertainment games this season. After the first game I wondered where the goals will come from. Glad to see that we have many goal scorers!

There is a version floating out there from the Spanish language broadcast thats worth checking out. Anyway for whatever weird reason the first thing I thought about after it happened was the old Megaleg bit by Patton Oswalt (NSFW).
Just looked at the shot stats from MLS website. His shot is from so far out the graphic just shows a blue line with no start point. Also, 9 shots for the Union. 2 blocked. 2 off target (posts) and 5 on target. I'd still be awake from excitement if I'd stayed up to watch it live. Damn fun game to watch.
