Well, half you're wish has been granted: ‘Bout that time...finally🔥🔥🔥📝👉https://t.co/QWwUwPCJJn⁰#DOOP pic.twitter.com/0vjIDHBTfv— Philadelphia Union (@PhilaUnion) August 25, 2020 A few changes. Wooten starts up top with Kacper. Glesnes slots in next to McKenzie at CB. Wagner returns from injury.
Can we scrap the digital overlays on the seats? I’ll start a gofundme to cover the losses in revenue.
Cleared off the line... Still 1 nil. Early in the match Tommy said something about the Union being in the CONCACAF Champion's League. My fiancé was talking to me at the time so I wasn't sure if he was speaking hypothetically or if we somehow got a spot. Did I miss something?
If the Union get all 3 points it will be a miracle. So many giveaways in bad spots. Union have not been clinical with their finishing either. Had three great chances to put this game to bed.
Worried we were going to lose the points late, but managed to grind it out. A few takeaways: Ilsinho may not be the instant spark he has been in the past. Wooten is a poacher and that does not work along Kacper. Glesnes is a physical presence - along with Martinez, we have some grit down the spine. Bedoya pisses me off when he flails his arms around when someone doesn't do exactly what he wants or expects, loses the ball, etc. When he makes a mistake, he just drops his head. He's showing up his teammates and half the time, it doesn't even seem warranted. Gaddis whiff shot was hilarious.
Sounds like she was in the hospital, but thankfully got out yesterday: Had a socially-distanced chat with @TommySmythESPN at halftime. He passed along the good news that JP Dellacamera's wife, who has been battling COVID-19, got out of the hospital today. Here's hoping for good health for both of them, and for everyone out there.— Jonathan Tannenwald (@thegoalkeeper) August 26, 2020 Also, Ray Gaddis with the assist on a nice cross. Totally unexpected.
