No, I want Biden to take it seriously, stay calm and answer the questions. Oh, to see a Trump v. Mayor Pete debate or Trump v. Warren (although, after explaining her "plans" in detail, she would pivot and do the things you mention and it would be glorious) or Trump v. Harris (I guess we do get the mini-version of that next month)
I am mainly joking, but like Brummie says, I think one weapon is to use humour - like the way he laughed at Ryan Trump is a baby. Don't take him too seriously. Mock him about his 70K hair bill. Then turn to serious topics.

Agreed - it is more to disarm and be dismissive. Yep. You just say you cratered the economy. You killed 200k Americans. You pay no taxes. The details don't matter.
The guys on PSA made a good point that Biden should say something like: "He's not paying taxes which means he is not a good businessman and not contributing to the fight against COVID-19 where here have been more than 200,000 deaths. I have a plan which will help people survive and bring back the economy, and allow kids to go back to school. Here is my plan..." They suggest taking a swipe at his taxes which will put Individual One off balance, but stay focused on the pandemic.
I think he will definitely use comedy (and trump own words......drink bleach etc) and bait Trump. Trump can be easily baited....
I saw an analysis this morning I thought was pretty great. Clinton demolished Trump 3 times by any conventional measure. But it didn't really help her, because the voters in play (to vote for either party, or whether to vote at all) took away from the debates that Trump represented radical change. We as a nation said, what have we got to lose.* Well, now we know the answer to that question. If Biden demolishes Trump 3 straight times (and I'd be very surprised with any other outcome) it'll hurt Trump. *The person making this analysis, IMO, ignored the part of Trump's win that was white racists who finally had a kindred spirit to vote for, and so they turned out.
Watching that clip of Ryan trying to project American values and GOP values felt like watching a bizarre dimension given what the GOP has turned into since. Not saying he was right just must be nice to have two parties that (at least think they) have core beliefs.
