Apparently Tabata has convinced the SAD to pay for the remaining 45% for 4.5M euros. Personally, I still think the finances on this one are super weird but hopefully it works out for us. Also, not really transfer news but we've begun to receive money from Rafael Leao from the case he lost against us. He is due to pay us over 16 million euros for breaking his contract without just cause. The FPF have apparently been notified to halt any bonuses for him and transfer them to SCP instead as the money begins to trickle in.

Looks like Nuno Mendes is set to sign a new contract with us with a renewed 70 Million Euro clause, up from 45M.
Great news. Also looks like Matheus Reis, from Rio Ave, is locked in on a 4-year contract. So I think this is just a formality as SCP prepare to sell Mendes in the summer.
I haven't seen enough rumours about Rodrigo Pinho. The striker from Maritimo has been an absolute baller with 10 goals and 1 assist in 12 matches (league and cup). His contract expires in June so this would be a low-cost/low-risk signing for an in-form player. He's about the same age as Paulinho too, without paying ridiculous amounts of money.
First piece of transfer activity for the winter. Ivanildo Fernandes will join Almeria on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy for 3M.
Some more rumours that we are looking to mutually terminate contract with Bruno Gaspar. Another that will inevitably join the long list of awful transfers. Speaking of which, Tiago Ilori apparently rejected a 1 year loan to MLS (New York Red Bulls). Frankly I think this kid will reject everything and we'll end up buying out his contract too.

At least we know he can score in our league. Some of these guys we sign score 25 in Slovakia and do jack when they're in Portugal. The offer is a bit much in my opinion, but we need him. We're not winning no league with our two current strikers.
The club has such a good chance to win the title after so long, I’m not against making moves the manager obviously wants. Can’t mortgage the future, but if it can be worked out without losing top notch assists or obscene money, get it done. The title can slip away quickly with just a few bad results.
Yeah the guy is proven, look at our rival, 24 mill for a striker that has the same appearances and goals as Sporar. I think there's also the players wishes - Paulinho probably wants a move. Throw in Ilori for free too
Yea I'm a bit indifferent about it. Paulinho has had a terrible season this season, and he's almost 30. I think we're showing our cards too much and the fact that we are putting all our eggs in the Paulinho bucket just shows how desperate we are and how we have no leverage. But apparently, allowing them to keep Iuri Medeiros gives us some leverage. That being said, I've learned to just trust what Amorim wants at this point.

It's been quite cold on this front, but here's some updated rumours: Plata started following Cadiz, could be an indication he will be loaned out this month for more playing time. Camacho and Ristovski apparently on Olympiakos list, and Bruno Gaspar could be a target for Elche. O Jogo says Newcastle are interested in getting Matheus Nunes on loan with a mandatary buyout clause of 10M pounds (11.2M euros) at the end of the season, however we are not looking to sell any first team or regular players until the summer.
Day 28 in January and we still only have TT and a pylon as our strikers. This is not sustainable. If we don't get somebody who can finish chances, don't be surprised if we lose out on the league, at which point SCP should move to have Varandas removed.
