Sounds like a pretty decent performance, from all I've read. One match does not a season make, but all things considered, I'd say it's rather encouraging. Hell, Rhodes scored! If he becomes anything like the Jordan Rhodes of old, that'd be a genuine boost.
Wednesday won (Tuesday? Rochdale?) their League Cup match (2-0) earlier this week. They'll be away to Fulham in the 3rd round.
Very good result, yes, but they took on way too much pressure late ... again. If you can play without nerves for 70 minutes, I'm not sure why you cannot for 90. There's a mental fragility there that doesn't bode well for what thus far appears a potentially strong team. But yeah, three points away to Brum ... can't complain about that.
I'm quietly confident for tonight and Paul Warne will definitely get the players fired up but if we don't have a two goal lead with 10mins to go then you're guaranteed at least a point.
