The 2020-2021 Golden Boot is on, a game where just goals and assists count. Time to research your goal and assist getting defender. You can even make them your first two draft picks. Same rules as last year. Teams play head to head and score a point for each goal or assist from their players who play that gameweek. It starts with group stages and ends in a bracket. Those 16 teams will be broken into 4 groups of 4 based on rankings. If two teams have the same number of points (from wins and draws) then total goals and assists. If there is still a tie, total goals. Each team plays each other twice. Lowest team in table is eliminated – the boot Total of 6 games weeks. Gameweeks 21-26 Fourth Group Stage – Boot 4 with 12 Teams Playing. Same Groups Remaining 3 teams in each group each play each other twice again. Lowest team in table is eliminated. Schedule based on format rankings. Total of 3 gameweeks to complete. Based on odd number of teams. Each week one team will have a bye week. Gameweeks 27-32 Bracket – 8 Teams Playing At this point 8 teams will be remaining. Round of 8 to Final The remaining 8 teams will be ranked based on total points, totals goals and assists, then goals. The 8 teams will be placed in a bracket. Top seeded team plays the lowest seeded team. Each match will have a home and away game. If there is a tie then away points (goals and assists will govern) Total of 6 Gameweeks 33-38
