I'll take your word on it and I won't wait for the injury report (with the WWC ongoing I could easily forget to predict later). So, prediction time, assuming no WWC player is back yet: UTA 1 SEA 1 WAS 1 NCC 0 HOU 0 POR 2 ORL 0 CHI 1
Wow I have my work cut out climbing back up the table. Embarrassed to say I forgot about NWSL with all the other football going on. Weekend predictions Utah 1, Tacoma 1 Washington 2, North Carolina 1 Houston 2, Portland 1 Orlando 0, Chicago 3
Coachjon's scattershot for Weekend 6/28-6/30 Royals 1 v Reign 1 Spirit 1 v Courage 2 Dash 1 v Thorns 1 Pride 1 v Red Stars 2 ....next week I may need to adopt the strategy of copying the robot, but picking one game to be different and maybe gain ground......
Whoops sorry guys, forgot there was a game scheduled on Friday night(World Cup totally wiped me out yesterday) so I’ll do make predictions for just these three. WAS 2- 1 NCC HOU 1 - 1POR ORL 0 - 3 CHI
And so, we've seen all kinds of Martas, Kerrs and Debinhas on the pitch!!! I limited the damage and managed to make a decent 5 points out of this match-day, but of course my predictions would have been slightly different, had I know that the World Cup players were coming back: in particular, I wouldn't have probably predicted a Courage loss to Washington!
Standings after weekend 11. Tapas&Futbol remains a star in first place overall, and a bunch finished on top for the week with 7 points. But ... uh oh.
Yeah I feel a bit betrayed myself. You'd think NWSL would advertise their WWC players returning, not quietly just slip them into the gameday rosters. Then again, NWSL's media position is vacant at the moment, so maybe I shouldn't be SO surprised - but still I'd expect the teams themselves to try making more waves. Blugh.
Yeah definitely not my best week this season. I hope to do better again, I had no idea they were returning to club teams so quickly.
This time assuming all but USWNT's and England's players will be back to their teams this week-end from the World Cup (I don't think there is any Dutch or Swedish player in NWSL) my prediction is: NC 2 HOU 1 POR 0 SEA 2 ORL 1 WAS 2 CHI 3 NJ 0
Weekend games (7/5-7/6) North Carolina 2, Houston 0 Portland 2, Seattle 0 Orlando 2, Washington 2 Chicago 3, Sky Blue 0
North Carolina 2, Houston 1 Weeds 2, Reign 0 Orlando 0, Washington 2 Chicago 3, SkyBlue 0 I really dislike the Weeds, but if any Weed scores, I hope it's Crnogorcevic.
