I was also surprised at quite how lopsided the TV numbers were: The people on this forum are crazy fanatics for catching nearly all the road games on local TV! (Back when we got Altitude.)
From what I can make out, yeah, the player costs is just the DP cost (or discretionary TAM). My guesses would probably be Chicago and New England. Maybe San Jose.
I came, I saw, I conquered. Thank you @lagalaxy for making me feel alive again. To the Galaxy fans - you wanted Zlatan, I gave you Zlatan. You are welcome. The story continues...Now go back to watch baseball pic.twitter.com/kkL6B6dJBr— Zlatan Ibrahimović (@Ibra_official) November 13, 2019
Conquered? What, exactly, was conquered? 0 golden boots. 0 trophies. 0 playoff wins. 0 MVP awards. 1 Goal of the Year award. That's a pretty low bar you set for yourself, Zlatan.
RSL wins the USL Championship? I watched the Final last evening and was surprised to see Luke Mulholland running around for the Monarchs. It turns out that there were five RSL regulars in the USL side for that game. The rules must allow that but to me it seems a bit unfair to the other teams.
I was shocked Spurs fired Pochettino though I guess I shouldn't be with the way world football works. Did Dortmund also fire Klopp or was that a "sort of mutual" thing? I would guess Pochettino won't be out of work long.
IIRC Klopp left Dortmund, was out of managing for a while, then went to LFC. Wondering if Poch will wind up at Bayern...
The 2020 MLS all star game is going to be a fun one this year!!! https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019...0-mls-all-star-game-presented-target-heads-la MLS All Stars vs Liga MX All Stars. In California, at LAFC's home stadium, with Bob Bradley at the helm of the MLS team. Should be a heck of a game, especially given the history between the two leagues....
People have been asking for that. I'm agnostic about it. Hate that it is LAFC's stadium, it should be somewhere that needs the attendance push more.

Emery is out at Arsenal, they gave him 18 months and the statistics seem pretty Hudsonian. https://www.livesoccertv.com/news/3...reign-as-arsenal-fans-celebrate-his-sacking/"
I like the word "Hudsonian" - it feels like it should be so much more, I don't know, impressive than it is.....
Speaking of former managers who gave you PTSD, I was surprised to tune in to Hertha Berlin vs Dortmund to see...Jurgen Klinsmann the manager of Hertha! I was less surprised when Berlin gave back to back goals on defensive disasters. It was...Hudsonian!
The term comes with a mascot, no extra charge -- and I think that also means it can be used in Scrabble. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Hudsonian_Godwit/id I believe the bay was named for a person and the bird was named for the bay.
I fully expect whether it be an alteration with TAM/Salary cap or DP spots that teams will be able to have more than 3 DPs on their team after the new CBA is signed.— MLS Moves (@MLSMoves) November 30, 2019 More rumors that new CBA will significantly increase Cap/ Max salary or add 4th- 5th DP to roster rules. Given all this I wonder if the Rapids just built up to MLS 2.0 when everyone else is going 3.0
What's the point of even having salary caps and roster limitations if we're just going to keep adding DP's, increasing caps/salaries, letting teams cheat the system (I'm looking at you Galaxy) etc.? Dear MLS....Why not just get rid of the parity you're "trying to maintain" and make the whole league open to whatever so that your favorite LA and NY teams can spend however much money they want on whatever players they want whenever they want. We all know you like your big city teams anyways, and that you're trying to recreate the EPL where only 6 teams have won the championship since 1992, and Man U has won it 13 times. We know you've been wanting the LA Gals to be that team in America for a while now. You've already let them bend the rules so many times, why not just get rid of the rules all together???? Sincerely, A satirical approach from a frustrated fan
I think that's a big assumption. Remember as it is only a few teams have 3 full DPs, and a few more have 2+ a youth DP. At the end of last season only 9 teams had either 3 full or 2 full + a youth DP.
