My guess is T-Mobile. Seems I saw a post earlier of a Black and Pink away kit. They are really attacking Verizon and AT&T for market share here in the US, so I wouldn't doubt it. Their Owner John Legere is pretty bold character.
Yea, unless a T-Mobile jersey sponsor deal has been in place for 2 years then the pink doesn't have anything to do with them. It might be the reason why the sign it though. Wonder if they will the T-Mobile section like they do at bayern. Poncho would actually come in handy in Seattle.
I see it as a return to the highlighters - we've had highlighter green, yellow and blue, now it's time for some highlighter pink - but thankfully it doesn't appear to be the primary color on the kit.
Beautiful and about time. Hope they go with the dark blue shorts at home as well. 1082517806615154688 is not a valid tweet id
Except this is first time you guys have used this design since joining MLS (Blue stripe). That's what I was getting at.
Is this the first year teams are allowing shoulder sponsors...or is that next season? I don't think I've heard of any teams sign any yet.
This SI article says they will be introduced in 2020. https://www.si.com/soccer/2018/10/24/mls-jersey-sleeve-sponsors-ads-2020 ESPN has the same thing. http://www.espn.com/soccer/major-le...o-allow-sleeve-sponsor-logos-starting-in-2020 I don't think the league has made an announcement so 2020 makes sense.
Am I the only one thinking this is stupid? Not just the color requirement but how they're presenting the stars? Simply put within the star the number of championships it represents, like "5" for the Galaxy. That's a graceful way to allow teams to account for multiple titles, and then you could have stars of alternate colors for other trophies (Open Cup, CCL) if so desired. Am I missing something here?
I think the tiny numbers in the stars would be hard to distinguish. 13 teams have won at least one MLS Cup so half of the league would have one star with a number in it representing anything from 1 to 5 titles at this point. Not enough variation for me. I like our two stars in Houston.
The only thing I’d change would be to have either the league logo or team logo colored gold for the defending champion. The extra gold star for the defending champ is dumb.
First teaser of Minnesota’s new secondary: have a nice weekend, everyone pic.twitter.com/4G5c955DYR— Minnesota United FC (@MNUFC) January 12, 2019 The teaser is a shot of the inside neck. Looks like they’re sticking with a white base, and that it’ll have a light blue collar and the loon on the back neck.
That's what I wished Seattle would have done with the Heritage kit. Use the top on the left with powder blue shorts. I have walking shorts similar to that color and it goes well with the jersey.
This is interesting. The maple leaf on the left sleeve. No ML$ shields on both sleeves? The HOU, NYCFC, and NER jerseys look to have the ML$ shield on the right sleeve. NER shows it on both sleeves. What is going to be on the left sleeve of this year's kits? Is VAN a one-off? (VERY sharp looking jersey, btw.)
