Got it thanks, not sure what happened to 92.9 early. Got the game synced up with Conti and Longshore. So much more enjoyable.
73' Hyndman comes in for Barco. I'm okay with that. Emerson has fresh legs and can play much the same role.
77' and Atlanta on the back foot for a spell, then Josef misses a headed sitter. Team needs to tighten up.
Man this clock is running slow... I feel like it is Friday and I am at work counting down the 5:00 o'clock whistle.
WE WILL WE WILL DE BOAR YOU! Man this atlanta team used be the hottest thing since Pam Anderson on home improvement, now? Golden Girls rerun.
Pity was good but still a lot of guys were off tonight. Barco, Pity, and others held onto the ball too long and/or passed up easy passes. Got away with it tonight because Philly was tired, but that's something that likely will need to be improved to claim the Cup. Gresselmania ruled tonight, thought Guzan was also quite good. Besides winning the best news was not having anyone pick up a 2nd yellow for the playoffs and having to miss next week.
I thought Nagbe and Larry were poor. Nagbe gave away possession more last night than he had in the last two months. Larry looked old and slow (I know I know), luckily he'll get full rest before the next game.
Fantastic atmosphere in the Benz last night. I agree with a lot of the points made here in that there was some ragged play by folks we don't usually see that from. But the team worked hard all over the pitch (Mikey, I'm looking at you in particular), which seemed to make up a bit for the not-so-clean touches. And geez, Josef's goal to seal it --- I love those top bins near post smashes. Nearly unmoored the goal!
If I'm being completely honest at this moment my distaste for LAFC's fans means their losing is about as important as Atlanta winning. What a bunch of entitled pricks.
