    A nice, milquetoast tie. 0-0.

Big opportunity with NYCFC and Atlanta dropping points.

NER beat NYC and MTL got a draw with ATL...things are setting up well if we can secure a win here.

A counterattack goal for the Crew in the 69th minute. Without a couple late Union goals, NYCFC will be out of reach.

So who comes on, Wooten or Fabian? I'm leaning towards Fabian.

Vintage Union. Went from in the hunt for first to looking like crap in third really quickly.

Interesting that they are taking Fafa off...I was expecting them to go 3 in the back since they need they need goals.

Fabian looks like a guy who's already lined up a contract with another team next year. Nothing that looks like urgency.

I don't understand how a team that's scored 57 goals on the season has been shut out 8 times....this team either scores 2 or 3 goals or none....

The Bedoya injury is huge. Completely different team after he went down. There's a huge difference between him and Creavalle. Bedoya adds to the attack, while Warren is strictly a stay out home destroyer.

I'm actually REALLY angry about that result, the Union basically had every chance to have an utterly EPIC home game next week. New York City vs. Philadelphia, a battle for the Eastern Conference. You no doubt could've drawn media and outside fan attention to the game and set the team up for a run in the playoff by having home field throughout but no, the team had to go out and take a wet shit on the field and settle for third.

Wonder if Bedoya's injury was in some way related to cramped, cross country, commercial airline travel? But hey, Jay has all those frequent flyer miles on his account now so that's probably good for one free trip to Atlanta and back for the playoff game so it all works out.

FWIW, I read somewhere the players get to keep the frequent flyer miles for all the commercial flights, and it is a highly-valued perk for the players on the lower end of the salary spectrum.

Actually ended up taking a nap instead of going to the game, which turned out to work really well for me.
