Seattle plays Orlando at home on Wednesday night. Union have the week to prepare. Victor Rodriquez left Saturday’s game with an injury. That’s a lucky break for the Union.

 

Thought of a tie since the winning streak has to stop at some point but then read mattylip's comment. Changed it to a W. Should be a good evening for a soccer game!

 

My optimism rises to the level of cautiously optimistic. Win. Union 3-1.

Five Thirty Eight says they have a 56% chance of victory.

 

I feel like this high has to end eventually. Draw.

 

Morris went down last night with a hamstring strain. Doubt we see him.

 

Union getting a lot of good luck this year.

Seattle beat Orlando 2-1 at home on Wednesday night. Seattle had a strong first half but faltered late in the game and almost let Orlando back in. The Union have had the week to prepare.

Jordan Morris did not travel to Philly and Victor Rodriguez already was ruled out. Brad Smith left Wednesday's game with an apparent injury as well. Chad Marshall did not play due to injury.

Both Handwalla Bwana and Nouhou Tolo observe Ramadan which means that they will have woken up prior to sunrise (6:00 AM EDT/3:00 AM PDT) and fasted from sunrise through gametime. Sundown is 8:12 PM.

Actually, sunrise is around 4:13 at the moment and getting earlier by a minute or so each day. Fajr is more about when the first light hits the sky, not when the sun rises. If they are anything like me, they are waking up around 3 or 3:30 to eat and drink water.

 

I have no knowledge of this but I'm not at all sure that Harris is observant...

 

Can't make it tonight due to a later commitment but hoping to watch the first half live. Kacper and Santos up top together for all those who were waiting to see that. Still no Fabian but Fontana is back along with Ngalina on the bench. If Ray goes down does Bedoya play right back? Should be a beautiful night in Chester - hopefully the play is as good as the weather.

Seattle's 11 looks like they are playing for a point

 

With how injured the team is it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s what the plan is for them.

 

We need an upgrade at right back. Full backs in this system have to be good going forward and crossing the ball. Gaddis has killed three or four promising attacks already tonight.

 

That may have been the most entertaining scoreless half of soccer I've ever watched the Union play.

 

Aaronson has to bury that. Ughhh

 

Blah. That sucked.

 

That was entertaining and disappointing.

 

Seattle did what they set out to do.

The elf sized AR on the press box side was especially crappy tonight, IMO. That dude missed all sorts of stuff all night long.

 

In hindsight, it might have been better to start Fafa instead of Santos. Santos didn't do much and we didn't have a lot of speed up front until Picault came on.

And yes, Gaddis' deficiencies were apparent. Having great recovery speed doesn't mean much when you turn over the ball first.
