The most impressive things to me about last night? I was sure...I mean it was a stone cold lock...that when Darwin was subbed off for Quintero, it meant there was going to be 12 minutes plus stoppage of last ditch defending. Nope. Should've honestly scored two more, and Colorado never looked all that threatening from Section 4. Nice job, boys.
My only fear is that we are going back into a scoring slump. We need to be more clinical on those, especially playing better competition. But hey, we finally beat the Rapids.
I'll take three points any way we can get them. As I mentioned elsewhere, this is going to be a knife fight the rest of the way.
Some stuff from Rapids yesterday. Nice new place ya got here @MNUFC 👌#Rapids96 | #Elevate pic.twitter.com/XyQ61fSgIP— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) August 14, 2019
#MNUFC captain defensive midfielder Ozzie Alonso is a game-time decision for Saturday vs. Orlando, coach Adrian Heath said. But this ailment that kept him out of Friday’s training session is not his shoulder, Heath added.— Andy Greder (@andygreder) August 16, 2019

Don't forget each side tonight cna activate only five international-slot players. Best guess for your @MNUFC five: Vito, Romain, Boxall, Gregus and Lod.— Jerry Zgoda (@JerryZgoda) August 27, 2019
#MNUFC greeted for warmups to a rousing supporters section. Lots of applause from the players as they take the field. #USOC2019 pic.twitter.com/d6DbQkUJkA— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) August 27, 2019
You put up a great effort guys. if it wasnt for a little bad luck with Mannone and that first goal and Metaniere just letting Meram cross inside the box like that, who knows. Boxall tho, my God, he has to make those sitters. You didn't fold and those last ten minutes were white-knuckle stuff! Again, great effort.
Kudos to both the Loons and the traveling Loon Army. The team played well and controlled the 2nd half. No reason for them to hang their heads, and what's more if they keep playing that way they're a tough out in the playoffs. As to the fans they made their presence known, were there early and until the team got their medals. Met a few before and after and they were a class act. Hope they enjoyed the rest of their visit. Cheers.

#MNUFC was outpassed 242-808. The Loons' chart is on the left; #LAFC's is on the right. Possession and pass rates are only as good as a team's ability to capitalize. What a way to win if you're the Loons. pic.twitter.com/dMmNwjwdyI— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) September 2, 2019

Paired with our game with Cincinnati, this should settle once and for all the fact that possession is overrated.
