Luck has nothing to do with it. Just like bigotry, in order to be a good loser "You have to carefully taught."

We do not have the problem because we have learned to be good losers so we can be good winners. (on the rare chances we have to show it)

Mexico is not infected by the "good loser" virus as we are. That is the problem with having so many of the old school hanging around. The kids will catch the infection.

I remember. Forgive me if I'm not breaking out the champagne considering Martinique could've scored at least 3-4 if they'd had competent finishing. Canada put out as many attacking players as humanly possible and looked incredibly vulnerable because of it.

I wouldn't be so sure. I wouldn't exactly say the USMNT is overflowing with humility and grace.

Cuz lions don't listen to lambs.

True. But as those "lions" are hairless, gimpy, and can no longer take a bite out of their opponents, they just won't have so many victories which would allow them to overflow with their lack of humility and grace......;)

Absolutely horrid finishing for Bermuda. They should have scored 4 times in the first 20 minutes yet it remains scoreless.

I'm stunned to see them completely outclass Haiti so far

Haiti has certainly squandered a lot of talent over the years... it may be that now it no longer really has that talent.

Bermuda finally gets their breakthrough on a corner to end the half. That could blow the race for 2nd place in Group B wide open

Much better 2nd half from The Haitians, they get their equalizer and look like they might have more

Bermuda should have buried them when they had the chance

Haiti definitely is in a rebuilding phase, A lot of the older generation has been phased out and also Jeff Louis our most creative player has suffered a premature retirement due to injuries. He was playing in Ligue 1 for Caen and previously in Belgium for Standard Liege

P.S. I am Haitian/Dominican/American so I root for Haiti as well as the USA

Good lesson for Berhalter. A little skill in midfield (and defense) will go a long way. And you don't need a bunch of finishers (like 5 a la Berhalter 3223), just somebody who is actually good at it, unlike poor Bermudans who were the "better team" but failed to finish.

On vacation in Mexico (Tulum) with my Nicaraguan girlfriend and can't find the Nicaragua-CR game on TV here.

Probably just as well because theyre going to get killed and she doesn't care anyway, but still it's the principle

Is it too late for a certain washed up striker to one time switch to Haiti?

Costa Rica looks pretty good. I thought this might be a down cycle for them, and while Nicaragua isn't exactly a tough opponent, it looks like my initial assessment might be off.

Is it just me or is it that Nicaragua is in white but it seems that in virtually every matchup the Costa Rican players are quite a bit bigger that the Nicaraguans? It just seem that there is always a size mismatch in favor of Costa Rica.
