Unpopular opinion but as wasteful as Javier is I think he'd have scored more than 3 so far.
This type of celebrations should be forbidden considering how injury-prone the squad has been this summer.
When Kikín played he usually scored
Alot of people overreacting for a meaningless game where we were already qualified. There was NOTHING to prove on the field.
Now to see if Haiti or CR will come out on top.
What about when he missed a pen against Panama and Raul had to save him and Mexico, who would score more goals there?
Unpopular fact, Raul.
Hard to admit the gap has closed. LOL
Just like Aldo had to save the day in Jamaica. Shit happens.
Their scoring ratio doesn't lie though.
Anyway, I'm neither a Chivas or America fan, I love both but as good as his all around game is, Raúl is just as or maybe more wasteful than Javier.
And it's not like he scores at the highest levels either, his highest profile goal is probably the one against Chile in 2015's Copa America(?).
Nah I'd say it was the chilena against Panama in the WCQ.
So, he's just as wasteful but has better all around game, sounds like he's better then. I know you're not a total Cheech fanboy because they think he never misses and scores almost every chance he gets.
I'm not gonna deny that Chicharito's goal ratio is impressive, but it's also very lopsided. Dude fizzled out after his first few years. even with the national team. He had amazing start, but after he left Real Madrid he has been on the downturn. The last time he scored five goals in a year for Mexico was in 2013.
