You're correct. Unfortunately Stuttgart still went on to lose the match. Goal: http://livetv.sx/enx/showvideo/1017270_hoffenheim_stuttgart/
Good game this week from him against Union Berlin. Almost scored again. And Stuttgart draw with a 92 minute equalizer. They are on a upper wave.
With this draw Stuttgart moved up to a playoff place, leaving Hertha behind (who have same amount of points, much worse goal diff (-34 vs. -16), and let go Korkut and hired Quälix Magath in a desperate move). Highlights:
added him becaues why not. Though, it is realistical that he will be playing with the U21 for a while.
They said the same of Ito when he joined up last summer and he quickly settled in as a starter for the senior club, so who knows. That said, Chase is more raw at the moment and hyped up a bit prematurely, no doubt as a result of the JFA fast-tracking him to the Olympic team. I think they are wary of losing him to the US federation.
He's like one of the 3 most talked about prospects coming out of high school this year? Big, fast, strong center back, pursued by a bunch of European clubs including Ajax, AZ, and likely others. Not many kids get called up to the U21/22 team as an 18-year-old, many observers including Atsuto Uchida believe he has extremely high potential.
Endo scored the decisive goal for Stuttgart vs Koeln, which was also assisted by Ito's initial header. The win helps Stuttgart avoid relegation as they finish 15th in the Buli ahead of Hertha on goal differential: https://streamja.com/KLP7V
Ito was ill yesterday (flue) like Kamada but Endo played as usual in a very good game and close game which Stuttgart lost 3-1 against Gladbach.
Kind of a downgrade since he did play in all of Union's Europa League matches. But he should get significantly more playing time with Stuttgart. I hope it's fruitful for both sides.
Haraguchi with an assist for the final score of 1-1 in Frankfurt. When Kamada was subbed in there were 5 Japanese players on the field, Hasebe, Endo, Ito and Haraguchi having started,
Haraguchi has been ultra solid since he joined Stuttgart, you can clearly see how he has developed with his age and especially at a top club like Union Berlin. He has become a good offensive minded CM. Maybe he would have helped JNT at the WC. Way more then a placethief Shibasaki.
It's not a fault to be called and go to the WC. The fault is all in manager hands. Any anyway, did Shibasaki ever play? If not, even Haraguchi would have never played.
