But Genk is now "inofficial"Champions in Belgium. Normaly they moved ahead of Brugge on the last day.

The won 1st and 2nd leg against Brugge and has a way better goal scoring rate but they are even on points (44)with Brugge.

Unfortunately the belgium rules said, that when Teams has the same points the old table before the play offs are counting which means Brugge is the official Champion cause the was place 1 and Genk 2.

Totaly Crap in my opinion, cause Genk won 5 out of 6 Play off Games and draw 1 time, they managed to beat Brugge in both games and close the big point gape which Brugge was having when the play offs were starting. That rule destroy the sense of competition and sport.

Genk get out 16 points out of 18.
Brugge get 6 points out of 18.

Club Brugges will be the one automatically qualified to next season's UCL groups-stage, and Genk will play in the qualification rounds.

I'm starting to ask myself what's he doing in Belgium.

It's not his fault: it's just I was expecting some clubs to scoop him up and bring him to other leagues.

Nice sequence of three one-twos in a row. The goal is just the cherry on the top.

Basically he played so well that he priced himself out of the range of many clubs in the top leagues.

Junya Ito and his teammate Theo Bongonda are reportedly attracting interest from a Russian club.

However, the duo will most likely not accept offers from Russia, as they will only move to more attractive leagues such as La Liga.

Ito provided the assist for Genk's winner today against Sint-Truiden in the Limburg derby.

Ito headed a cross towards the path of Onuachu who sent it home for a thrilling come-from-behind victory. If I am not wrong, this is the first time Ito provides an assist by a header since he moved to Belgium.

Ito was captaining Genk today as well.

Ito with another assist for Genk's opener tonight, but the team ended up losing 4-2 against Royal Antwerp.

Ito was again active on the wing causing many problems to Antwerp's defenders which saw one of them getting sent-off for fouling Ito in the 84th minute. However, Genk couldn't capitalize on their numerical advantage in the last few minutes.

Another assist today for Ito against Searing in the league.

This is the third consecutive league match in which he provided an assist. It is his fourth consecutive match if we counted his winning assist against Rapid Vienna in the Europa league. It is his fifth assist in the last six competitive match.

In tonight's match Searing defenders cannot handle Ito and fouled him numerous times, including one foul inside the penalty box which resulted in an awarded penalty kick. However, his teammate, Onuachu wasted the penalty kick.
