Meanwhile, in Scotland... The filthy tim Hoops win their 9th straight top flight league title, 13 points clear of runner-up Rangers. the Light Blues, the Steelmen of Motherwell and the Reds of Aberdeen earn Europa League spots. Poor Heart of Midlothian gets relegated to the Scottish Championship, after a 5-year run in the Premiership for Hearts. Dundee United earns promotion back to the Premiership after a 4-year absence.
Aston Villa's undeserved point vs Sheffield (due to goal line technology failure) looms large now with AV possibly staying up.
Forgot to mention that Pulisic put on a show vs Liverpool Wednesday. Came on about the 63rd minute down 4-1 and had a dazzling run through the defense, setting up an Abraham tap in goal, then scored himself a bit later and had several other chances. Klopp saw his teen signing run amok.

Didn't one of our players do that (or almost do that) at an awards ceremony?? I know I was saying Shepard's Prayer the time I gave out an award at the Crew ceremonies, as it was crystal.
A player from Real Madrid dropped the trophy during their parade. He and others were on an open-top bus and it fell in front of the bus and was run over.
Impressive first season for Frank Lampard. Took Chelsea from 3rd to 4th; got six points fewer than Sarri; conceded as many league goals as Brighton; lost the FA Cup final to a fairly ramshackle Arsenal.— Evan Fanning (@evanfanning) August 1, 2020
And played more youth players than Sarri had even heard of. Future is bright at Stamford Bridge with SuperFrank at the helm.
I agree, the future is bright under Lampard. They have a nice mix of youth and the bottomless pockets of Roman. At no point in the near future should they be outside of European places or fighting for multiple trophies. I just never bought into the xenophobic anti-Sarri zealotry of the English press and was able to also view his accomplishments with critical and nuanced eye like I do with Lampard (who, incidentally is probably my favorite English player ever).
I never care for how the English press treats anyone, really. I didn’t like Sarri because he was so rigid in his formations and playing style. You can argue it was successful, which it was to a certain extent, but I didn’t see that style being dominant for an extended period or in Europe. Wish the guy well, glad he manages else where.
We've had a lot of disagreements, but this a personal attack and way over the line. He manages Juventus. ******** him. May he never taste success again. Your post has been reported to the mods. May the punishment be swift and severe in accordance laid down by the holy trinity of De Rossi, Totti, and Cafu. Amen.
