    I have to agree with that. He was lost the entire game. He wasn't productive at all. Should have been subbed way earlier out of the game seeing he was the worst out there.

    He didn't track back on PSV's second goal, and completely lost his man on their third goal. The guy is not good enough. Period.

    Vietto is who we thought he would be. Just another guy who takes up a roster spot for someone who can actually deliver.

    Also forget the whole Lage idea... no way is Pontes the answer. The longer Varandas takes the more he digs his own grave.

    Braga with an important win in England. Anyone see Palhinha recovering so many balls in midfield? Never really liked him when he was with us but he appears to have matured. I believe he's still on loan from us until the end of the season.

    Coates and whatever manager decides to play him again need to be dismissed immediately.

    Looks like Silas is going with his classic 3 CB today.

    Sporting CP vs. LASK Linz Starting Line-up

    Renan;
    Luís Neto, Coates, Mathieu;
    Doumbia;
    Miguel Luís, Wendel, Bruno Fernandes, Acuña;
    Bolasie, Luiz Phellype

    3 centre backs for this game - looks like Silas is testing his favourite 3-1-4-2 formation he used at Belenenses.

    What a bad start. LASK has been pressing really high and we can't pass out of the back.

    0-1. Fully deserved. Mathieu AGAIN gives the ball away, Coates leaving the attacker onside.

    They've been peppering our goal with shots from everywhere. We cant string 2 passes together. What is going on??? Even bruno fernandes cant make a pass so far...

    At this point Im glad its 1-0. This may be our worst performance yet. The players are so far apart. Disjointed. We literally can't make a simple pass.

    What a shocking half. Makes me think the win the other day was a fluke.

    This system isnt working. Mathieu should come off, Miguel luis too.

    That was painful to watch. No fluidity at all and the back line looks so porous.

    Neto off for Vietto.

    So back to 4 at the back and 2 up front

    We’re sitting in the corner on Acuna’s side and it’s been painful to watch. I’ve not seen a team have no clue what it’s doing in a while. Every time the back three or gk get the ball you can see they don’t know who they’re meant to be passing it to.

    This formation in this match isn’t working.

    Bring on a rb for Miguel Luis and go to a back 4

    1-1 Phellype heads it from the corner.

    Our first chance the whole game, talk about efficiency.
