1 year loan. I hope he improves his finishing while in Portugal.

Either way it will be better than playing for Matsumoto Yamaga and under Sorimachi.

Nearly scored with a nice header. He had enough time to show how fast he is.

    Solid debut, good intensity.
Also nice highlights. Not the usual super short ones with 5 actions.

This just shows how he was underused by Sorimachi.

Scored a PK apparently. Doubt he's the PK taker normally, so probably he earned it!

2 goals in 6 games at Maritimo compared to 2 goals in 18 games at Matsumoto.

This stats might show how Sorimachi’s tactics at Matsumoto Yamaga are anti-offensive.

Well, there might be another factors affecting this stats, such as the strength of the opposing defence and their awareness of Daizen Maeda’s abilities, but still watching him in action at Maritimo is a much of a relief compared to his time under Sorimachi’s supervision.

Scored his team’s first goal tonight against third division club Beira-Mar in Porugal’s Cup.

The matchended 2-2, and his team lost in the PKs.

3 goals in 8 matches in all competitions, not a bad start to his European career.
