They will have to play the silly play-offs after the conclusion of the regular season.

Yes, let’s hope the team will manage to get either a UCL or EL spot.

That's only for the top 6, isn't it? St. Truiden is on 7th place, same points as Gent but I guess Gent is ahead since they played better in the two direct matches? Also it seems there's actually only one match left before the play-offs. Sounds like a real nail biter as the last match day, St. Truiden could still move up to 3rd place theoretically. Last match day is next Sunday, and the match is a final against... Gent.

Yes. Its five teams with a point differential of 3 points ahead of the last gameday.
They face Gent wich also have 47 points. So the winner in this game will make it.

Apparently the STVV - Charleroi match set a new record by having five Japanese players on the pitch at the same time in a top-flight European league match. STVV had Tomiyasu, Kamada, Endo and Kinoshita, and Charleroi had Morioka. Sekine was on the bench for STVV but didn't play. STVV won the match 3-1 with Morioka scoring Charleroi's lone goal, and Kamada had an assist.

Previous to this, the match that held the record for four Japanese players on the pitch at the same time was back in 2014 when Hannover (Sakai & Kiyotake) played Hertha (Haraguchi and Hosogai).

Kamada assisted the goal. 2 assists from Kamada in the last 2 games. He is a scorer machine.

What a beast. You have to wonder what Eintracht will do with him.

    Sekine’s goal:

I’m wondering where he, Kamada, and the other Japanese loanees will play next season?

We have 9 Japanese players loaned from their parent European clubs to other European clubs, those players are:

    Shinji Kagawa.
    Takashi Inui.
    Takashi Usami.
    Yuya Kubo.
    Takuma Asano.
    Takahiro Sekine.
    Yosuke Ideguchi.
    Daichi Kamada.
    Masaya Okugawa.

Maybe he goes back to Frankfurt? I mean he has showed enough.
    15 goals and 10 assists?

I guess he will return to Eintracht Frankfurt and then they will decide what to do with him.

Would be nice if he stayed and they really gave him a chance, and that he take it of course.

For Kamada, I'd prefer staying in Belgium, maybe with a higher-tier team (Anderlecht, Gent?). Eintracht would be wonderful, especially if they play CL-football, but I don't know how much space he'd find under Hutter.

And Eintracht is blessed with attacking talent. Even if they sell a forward or two in the off season, I’m not sure he would get much game time. They have a very distinct playing style too. Very direct with balls played straight to the forwards from the back (often Hasebe). Kamada would have to suit that style.

No Europe for them. Moriokas Charleroi will go to next around.

Wonder if they will stay anyway? Both Kamada and Tomiyasu must have attract interest.
