I don't want to unduly raise anyone's hopes but earlier today I saw Emrah,, Simon and, I think, Kevin meeting at a Midtown coffee shop.

Sorry, not Kevin. As I was typing that I was thinking our GM's name is Kevin Dunivant. I meant Todd.

That’s great! But also, that’s kind of sad, I wish he could find a home in another MLS team.

Hopefully, he's our new right back. I think Taintor is fine and want to continue to develop Rodriguez. Assuming Gomez can hold up at LB, Emrah definitely solidifies the defense.

I think Gomez has been pretty solid. For me, Hord is the weak link defensively. He's fine going forward but has trouble getting back. Once back, and the backline is in shape, he's okay.

The Bears signs academy player, Hunter George:

"A midfielder and forward...the 17-year-old led the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Northwest Conference last season with 24 goals, which was fifth most in the entire league. His performance earned him selection into the league’s Best XI. The Orange County native has also been called up to three camps with the U-18 U.S. Men’s National Team."
