I didn't like the instant scoring element of it because the tiebreaker would happen so fast that I couldn't understand what was happening as a viewer. I like how quickly the event was it didn't drag like some of the other events. Now that you point out the tiebreaker system I think they could've done better.
Man, Atlanta's defense is a sieve. Charleston's attack is looking like Barcelona's out there. I guess I better check to see if these are the starters.
It was interesting. They kept talking about those 3 sprint rounds in the middle of the race where people earn points, but the points don't matter because 1,2,3 at the end make enough to beat anyone who wins the 3 sprint rounds. I guess the points matter in the World Championship where 4-10 place mean something more.
Reminded me of a crit race in cycling. I think its a better event to follow over the course of a season than as a one off at the Olympics. Mixed doubles curling was by far the best new event this time around.
They just showed this during the hockey final. #SoccerRelated What a game today! We're going to the finals!!🇩🇪👍Congrats to the German ice hockey team👊 #winterolympics pic.twitter.com/OCOt5qXIUi— Bastian Schweinsteiger (@BSchweinsteiger) February 23, 2018 Thx, Jay!
