#MLS has upheld the red-card suspension for #MNUFC defensive midfielder Fernando Bob, meaning he will remain out for Saturday’s match vs. #NYCFC.— Andy Greder (@andygreder) September 27, 2018
Bet if his name was Josef Martinez it would have been reversed... Aw, who am I kidding? If he was Josef Martinez, he wouldn't have been given a red card in the first place...
Well...that was pleasantly surprising on a number of levels... I think I can actually feel my toes again, too!
I brought the winter jacket but had it opened all night. Yep, the toes got a little chilly. Again, great 30 minutes in the first half. I think my minor quibble of note.......of late, is that DQ has not been clinical as of late. He should have had at least two goals over the last two games.
You have to wonder if the pounding he's getting isn't taking its toll just a bit. I'd still give him an NHL assist on the first goal... I will add though that I'm getting tired of ALL the goals being scored in front of the Dark Clouds.
MNUFC has 10 home wins. Here is who DIDNT start in each game:CHI - BastianHOU - (full)VAN - Kemara, Reyna, FelipeMON - (full)TOR - Altidore, Vasquez, BonoRSL - Plata, SaucedoNE - Penilla, CaicedoLA - Vela, Zimmerman, DiomandePOR - Valeiri, CharaNYC - Villa, Moralez— Collin Solberg (@collinsolberg) September 30, 2018
When we look back at this season, the four matches that will have cost us the playoffs are going to be: The two losses to San Jose (half their win total for the year) The loss in Colorado The home loss to Seattle
I'm am going to add the Atlanta game here as well. The Seattle game will probably be the marker where it went off the rails. That one stung.
Someone went to (photoshop) town on Heath after his pose this weekend. https://imgur.com/gallery/e9aFYVk Those are quite good.
Rodriguez makes the MLS bench. Keep on reverse jinxing him, Bluecat. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018/10/01/team-week-presented-audi-lodeiro-crushes-it-week-31
https://www.mnufc.com/post/2018/10/03/record-broken-50ktomidway Minnesota United has sold and distributed more than 50,000 tickets for its final home match at TCF bank stadium on Sunday, October 21. The Loons are now set to break the long-held attendance record with more than 50,000 tickets already accounted for and will look to end a successful home-field advantage at TCF Bank Stadium on a high note, both on the field and in the stands. Get there early.
Although an inquiry to The Don's office by...oh, I don't know...Chris Wright might be in order. Something along the line of "How come it's always us with matches during the international break?"
In order to stay in the playoff hunt, #MNUFC will need a result in Philadelphia, a Timbers win, and an SKC win. pic.twitter.com/3TyohmGeji— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) October 5, 2018
Since we're going to be stuck with the Adrian and Manny Show for at least another season, there had better be some massive changes on the backline this winter. That includes Shuttleworth, btw.
Oh man, the entire defense is just AWFUL tonight. They are slipping all over the place, but they are playing chicken. But you know, passing grade, bring them back. *barf
What's really concerning is the thought that a reason for the great home record is the screwy turf at TCF, and that we're going to suck on grass next year.
