He failed in Europe and was never integral to the NT. The K League just happens to make certain players look good when they really aren't ie LDG.

In context of that comment, it's really interesting how Japan's struggling with a manager who's specialty is fast counters, while we're doing poorly with a manager who wants us to play like Spain. We should swap managers.

lol, not even the Japanese would accept him as their manager.

I really wish we could somehow trick them into doing the first ever NT manager trade with us. We get rid of Stielike and sabotage Japan in the process. It would be like killing two birds with one stone.

On a serious note, will Halilhodzic even take the KNT job? I'm pretty sure he's well aware of the situation we're in, so I think he'd probably say something on the lines of "I'm already having a tough time with the JNT, but the KFA wants me to take over the KNT which is also going through a shithole? fcuk that".

It would take a lot of chance, that's for sure. Don't see it happening unless both Korea and Japan sack managers and Halilhodzic feels like he has something prove in Asia.

When we had the chance to hire Gunes, the KFA did not take that chance and we eventually ended up with a nobody that wasted 2 years smh.

It's obvious the KFA hires based on superficial qualities. Gunes had no chance because he was a Turk.

You want to know something ironic? The KFA first rejected Fatih Terim and Gunes back in 2004 because they couldn't speak English, but FC Seoul hired Gunes in 2007 and even provided him with a Turkish translator .

LYS was quoted saying he narrowed down the criteria to only West European managers closing out S. American and E. European managers let alone Turks.

What this means is that he was looking for English speaking managers.

He speaks English but he said he feels more comfortable speaking Spanish. He speaks German, Spanish, English, and a bit of French.

I've always wondered, why Spanish? I mean I get that it's his most comfortable second language, but we still need a translator regardless. So why not just speak German and have someone translate that? It seems stupid.

Because, when he brought his butt buddy Carlos with him, he said that he can communicate through a Spanish translator whilst speaking German to players like Son, Koo, Ji etc.

I bet KFA is run by middle-aged Korean men who thinks mid-table EPL teams are better than FC Bayern.

EDIT: by the way, ******** the KFAil. for rejecting Terim (if he even approached Korea) and Gunes. Not saying there were guarantees those two would be God-send, but given the options they had, the decisions those stooges made is beyond mind boggling.

no. I hope we can collect 3 points against Iran next year too, but I don't think it's realistic at this point. Something drastic needs to change.

We couldn't beat Iran last time around at home.. if anything it's gonna be tougher this cycle.
