Defending dodgy, too. Can't see them going beyond the QF.

Possibly a deliberate reference to this?

Maybe seems odd to bring up regardless.

Either way you nailed it. Fox's broadcasting quality has been terrible compared to everyone else in terms of knowledge and input. They've hired some analysts who just shouldn't be there. Kate Abdo is clearly their for her looks as well. She's quite average I must say:(

Hope everyone is enjoying the world cup. Decided to watch mexico v germany on mexican tv because fox’s analysts and commentators are terrible. Down here they really believe this is their tournament. This is their golden generation from the u17 and olympics win, plus bew stars have emerged like lozano. One to watch.

I will be surprised if Germany don't completely batter them.

Bedlam in the neighbourhoods and gardens down here..... The mexican coach is a nutter. Hes both loved and hated because he plays people all over the place (e.g. layun, a lb in midfield) and plays high-risk football. Now comes the real test. Can he reorganise because I doubt low will be caught out tactically again

Really surprised at how wide open Germany are at the back. Seriously this game could have been over a long time ago if some México players opened their eyes whilst attacking. Found myself screaming at the tv, pass it right, pass it left etc when players are basically clear through on goal but they just didn’t t see it. Mind you it’s easy saying this sat on a sofa, lol.

Theres something like a 12% chance of qualifying if you lose your opening group game. I still think sweden may have a say in all this if they can beat korea tomorrow

Sweden can defend like Iceland. Beat korea, draw Germany and Mexico . Germany could be out.

Germany played like that against Algeria in the last WC but Algeria missed every chance. Mexico were just as awful in the final third today but managed to take a chance.

Who would have thought the first UEFA loss would come from Germany. I was worrying it would only be us :ROFLMAO:

Germany just looked leaden footed. Everything they did felt laboured. Mexico could have won comfortably if they had a better final ball

Finishing top of our group leads to a very tough draw...
funny how finishing 2nd would likely lead to a much better chance to get deeper.

Let’s just hope it’s not Southgate at halftime during tomorrow’s game, mind you not sure I could ever imagine Southgate going mental at anyone.

Switzerland are a pretty useful side. With a decent centre forward they could be very dangerous.

Blatant foul for the Swiss goal. These VAR decisions are giving me a headache. You just know we aren’t going to get the rub of the green when it’s our turn.
