935897301830324225 is not a valid tweet id We can't get drawn against another American team, so our possible opponents are: Toronto FC (CAN), CD Guadalajara (MEX), Club America (MEX), Tigres UANL (MEX), and Club Tijuana (MEX)
I am certainly no expert, but none of those teams feel beatable. Frankly, if I was them I would be hoping to draw the Rapids.....

You cads. I'll still buy tickets to our home half, I've been looking forward to it. You guys remember the 50% of the stadium Santos takeover? It's gonna be more like a 1/2 of a home leg and an away leg if we get one of those Liga MX clubs.
And that said, I enjoyed the Santos game, as they were at the top of their game w/their classic lineup. Quintero, Peralta, Luduena and uh, that other wing whose name slips my mind. I'm rooting for Tigres. If we get Chivas or America, the stadium will be even more overrun.
My favorite Champions League memory is still Metapan loaning us boots in El Salvador. As for this year's Champions League:
You know me, I'd never root for Tigres. I loved all those CCL games more than the team did. I seem to remember Sanchez in net and Mulan scoring in that game.
I'm only rooting for them to be drawn so I can see Gignac et al. at the stadium. As you know I had been following their "super team" (that tailed away off in the 2nd half of the Apertura as I got busier.) Maybe it is just Ferretti's style, but they seem very "meh" for the amount of attacking talent they have and rely a lot on Gignac's unique abilities. His size makes him the LigaMX Ibrahimovic. In the 2nd leg of the 1st round, I think Sosa and Enner Valencia started the game on the bench. In other games Valencia's started and Vargas has sat. It would be great if the Rapids had any of those guys.
Yes, any of those guys. They are looking at the possibility of an all Monterrey final. UANL took the away leg of their match vs. America last night.
It will be fun to have a February home game against a quality team. I am excited for it even though my hopes aren’t up that we will advance. Maybe We will get another epic snow game at DSGP.
That's one low probability event. We know how this goes. We'll be holding a commanding 0-0 lead from the 1st leg and the Mexican team will come back to win 10-0 in the 2nd half of the 2nd leg.

And late - 8 pm start. Here's my thought: why can't CONCACAF allow teams that aren't in their league season choose to play on the weekend and during the day rather than on fridged weeknights?
