I like the new system the Red Stars are playing. Looks like the players are buying into it and winning sure adds to morale. Good 3 points!

Chicago is covered in snow this morning. Red Stars next game is two days away.
Let's hope for a quick melt away.

I am so tired of snow in Chicago!

Well, Polar Hell is alive and well here! Looks like 32F/0C and snow for tomorrow night game CRS vs. Dash - I am sooooo looking forward to that mother nature episode ; HOWEVER, I am grateful every day that we have an NWSL team here so please ignore my whining if you will:notworthy:

Well, after all, according to your avatar, you are a "proud Norwegian American": don't you feel at home? I mean your Norwegian home? :D

Bear down, Chicago Red Stars! I was there for the whole game and our CRS warmed us up with a solid and sweet performance. Rain and snow and low 30s - thank God no wind!!!!!!! Hot Dog and Hot Chocolate helped! So proud of them - no Short, no Ertz, no DiBer, no Kerr, no Press, no problem! Impressive! Our passing in tight spaces was nice to watch! Uniforms were sweet! They were some tough players braving the winter conditions. Bravo, team! :D:thumbsup::inlove:

I was frozen but it was awesome! Chicago's new style of play is paying dividends and the hiring of the two new Assistant Coaches are paying off.

It started snowing in the second half and continued through much of the half.
Houston was completely frozen in the first half but came out better in the second.

Many of the season ticket holders who sit around me didn't show up.

Watched it on go90.com too cold and yes I admit it I'm a wimp. I will be there Saturday. Does anyone know when we are getting Sam Kerr back?

I'm hoping she will be available April 28th in Washington and of course May 2 in Chicago against Alex Morgan and the Pride.

Today's weather is just the opposite of yesterday.

Sunny in Chicago not a cloud in the sky and in the 60's.

One thing's for sure: tommorow Asian Cup ends with the final, so she won't be on NT duty anymore.

Edit: sorry but I'll of course root for Japan. :p

I think they probably would have said "shirt sponsor" if the agreement included a shirt sponsorship. That's a pretty big detail to leave out otherwise.

I can understand the need of a certain narrative on a website that's especially addressed to supporters of a club, but I would have to object to the sentence: "The Matilda’s won their group handily".

If finishing the group tied at 5 points with two other teams, winning the group on goal difference only and, especially, tying the last game with only 3 minutes remaining on the clock to avoid being shockingly eliminated from the competition is the definition of "handily"... well, in this case, I have to get back at studying my English, because I was giving a different meaning to that word! :giggle:

LOL, Blissett! :ROFLMAO: Your attention to details is peerless. Let's hope Sam Kerr literally "handily" helps CRS win this season!
