The league doesn't offer much in the way of team ranks, but here's how Republic stack up against the western conference.

Those of you with sharp eyes will note that the conversion rate below is slightly higher than what I've calculated above. The league doesn't publish a conversion rate in the post-game stats, so I calculate it as I've seen one prominent stat service do it: Goals scored/(Shots - Blocked Shots) I thought including blocked shots was kind of odd, so I may just start using the USL calculation in the future.
I'm impressed with the distribution stats. After four games, SRFC is averaging 15 more long passes per game than their opponent, while keeping their pass accuracy pct at 80%. Gotta admit, i'm surprised by the disparity in corner kicks.
Now that we have roughly 20 percent of the season done, here's a quick power ranking. Methodology is: 50 % PPM 30 % Matches Won 10 % Goal Differential 10 % Strength of schedule
Urg. Just saw I had PHX and Sporks mixed up, as well as OKC and LA. It'll be correct in next month's version. And at the rate some teams are going in the WC, we may also have some toast as well.
We only have a 4 goal differential and yet we are near the top of the conference. Proof that its not how many goals you score, it’s when you score them. ;-)
Edit: Typically, I only list a stat if we're in the top ten. However, I'm making an exception for conversion rate, for obvious reasons.
Edit: Two strong strikes by Cam vaults him to 3rd in scoring in the west. Jure surges into the top ten in chances created. No one is in the top ten in assists, with Vilyan and Cam buried deep with only three assists each.
