yup. I'm not too bothered about catching this one. I've seen us get our expectations up only to have them dashed by some slack ass interim manager more than enough in my time.
That was the only goal. You will play at Chelsea on Sunday January 27 at the unusually late time of 6:00 P.M. local/1:00 P.M. Eastern/12:00 P.M. Central for IvanIV.
Even if I didn't look at your "TN" state, the start times in what you copy from ESPN say "CT" for Central.
'TN' wouldn't even do it, as half the state is Eastern and half Central. Oh, the places bigsoccer will take us. Anyway, I had completely forgotten about this match, as I had a very much not fun dentists appointment, from which I had to rush to the auction of a lovely '66 Triumph Spitfire Mk2, which was snatched from under my nose by a late bid (grrr). So Wednesday have snuck through and will meet Chelsea at the Bridge. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Wednesday will get utterly stuffed. But I will be hoping against hope to be wrong. Fun day out in that London, though. Late kickoff means loads of drunken Owls mixing about with their always charming hosts. What could go wrong?
6 - 0 - 4 now... EVen though they are a fairly new club beginning play in 1932, I would have bet we'd played them more than 10 times in our history. Also they've recently, more so than us, played in Europe!
despite what the last 10-15 years have looked like, Wednesday had spent most of the preceding 70+ years in the first and second divisions, whereas Wigan spent most of that time below that. for that matter, Wigan spent a big chunk of that last period in the first division, where Wednesday haven't been since 2000. I would've probably thought it more than ten times, as well; but when you think about it, it's not really surprising.
http://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/league/wiga.htm only has information for Wigan going back 40 seasons. They were in the top level in 8 seasons, the second level in 5 seasons (and 2018-2019), the third level in 19 seasons, and the fourth level in 8 seasons. For the last 41 seasons including 2018-2019, their average level is 2.66 and yours is 1.78.
I've heard of songs costing $0.99, but the first album has an average "song" length of 29.9 seconds, meaning just under one-eighth of a 4 minute song.
music and English football have been teaming up for a couple generations, now. the results are always - with no exceptions - utter, utter shite.
just watched it. some very good stuff in there. I came within a whisker of getting a last minute flight over for that promotion game v Wycombe Wanderers in '12. would've easily been one of the best 2 or 3 match atmospheres I'd ever been part of. the New Barrack Tavern in there, too. standard for mine every time over.
