I would take Draxler over Ozil.

The workrate is not a real issue imo. At RM he used to run his ass of and get subbed every 70th minute (Jose's Real were 100% a workrate team). At Arsenal there is no pressing system and no shape, so for an intelligent player to make random runs (like Alexis does) is nothing bu aesthetics. I'm sure under Bosz, he'll work hard like he did under Mourinho.

There is no doubt that Oezil is an extremely intelligent player, but a system like the one Bosz uses is based on the fact that everyone presses. Oezil doesn't have the desire to play that style at all.... and honestly it doesn't suit him.

Under Tuchel he would have fit.... but I don't think he fits well with Bosz.

Doesn't Ozil have as much a likelihood of coming to BVB as Boateng?

Ozil is in a desperate situation. He won't join due to wages and we have no place for him, but if there was a real will from the board it might be possible.

Draxler is the one that I am disappointed about. It looks like he will go to Arsenal, but he has real potential. Arsenal is the wrong move for him just like PSG was. I think in the right team he could fulfill his potential.

The squad is looking fairly solid, but we lack the world class star to compete with the elite. The team is full of very good players in virtually every position, but we like say Tottenham lack the truly star player of say Messi/Ronaldo/Robben/Neymar/Dybala/De Bruyne/Hazard. Dembele could have been that player for us, but now we have no one.

The Sancho deal is close, according to Sky Sports News over here, he has missed training in recent weeks and was previously left out of the pre-season training camp by Pep.

Sancho is in Germany having his medicals.

Under TT: Rode, Schurrle, Toprak, Castro
Without TT: Yarmolenko, Sancho, Toljan, Phillip

I guess they have completely given up on Coutinho. Good on Klopp & Liverpool.

Yeah. One thing I won't miss about Tuchel is his influence on transfers.

Draxler is a former Schalke youth and senior team player. It is unlikely, but not impossible, for him to consider a move to BVB.

Arsenal is definitely a bad move for him. He needs to move to a club with ambition and a more modern coach, like Liverpool.

Yes! He just went AWOL for a few weeks, wouldn't answer his phone, and made cryptic social media posts in order to force a transfer. Finally there is a replacement for Dembele. :D

Oezil is as well. I don't see it as issues anymore. they got to do what is best for them - not their fans. Moves from Goetze, Lewa and Hummels showed that as well when the competition between BVB and BM where at the strongest and highest point in recent years - BM then went on to win 5 title in a row with those players so - I don't think any player cares about it as much as they care about their careers. Would they try to avoid it? Sure, but that is it.

Sure but all three combined couldn't hold a candle to Sancho.

It doesn't matter. If he thought it was the best move for him he would come. He would be a fool to stay at PSG, but no chance of him coming here now.

Does anyone know how good Sancho is?

Someone compared his level to that of Pulisic one and a half to two years ago. Ready to be eased into first team football.

So he won't be a factor his season.

Not a particularly flattering article about Yarmolenko.
    http://www.espn.co.uk/football/club...e-but-for-how-long-and-is-it-already-too-late

Yevhen Konoplyanka has not set the world a since leaving and Yarmolenko and he were on the same level. At least he will have a friend close by.
