For everything not player related. First, MLS dropped home openers for all the teams, as a result, we know some of the Sounders first games: http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2016/...ome-openers-all-22-clubs-season-kicks-march-3 March 4, Saturday, 8:30PM Eastern - @ Houston Dynamo (BBVA Compass Stadium) March 11, Saturday, 7:00PM Eastern - @ Montreal Impact (Olympic Stadium) March 19, Sunday, 7:00PM Eastern - vs. New York Red Bulls (CenturyLink Field)
I wonder if this is the latest home game for the Sounders? There was a season or two where we were the first game of the season and I seem to recall most of the seasons we were at least at home in the opening weekend.
Turns out the reason for the "late" home game is that CenturyLink will be having some renovations done in February/March, so it won't be available. Centurylink renovations apparently forcing sounders onto road for first two weeks.— Jeremiah Oshan (@JeremiahOshan) December 21, 2016
