He's keeping the starting forward this week close to his vest as if it mattered. If we lose the next 2, he's gone.. He can unfortunately buy himself a few more games by winning 1 of the next 2 I guess, but this team doesn't get him near the playoffs by mid-season. They should just send him packing today and get the next guy going on a new 5 year plan.
I don't believe he's gone until the owner is, that's why he says what he does. I'll be shocked at this moment if Stewart even has the authority to fire him. This owner is the classic definition of "absentee." He really doesn't want to be bothered with anything. Everybody in that org. is a default-except Stewart-who was likely imposed upon him by Garber to do something to give the base the appearance the league was trying to move the club forward. Sugarman doesn't know anybody of influence in the sport, and I doubt he has any desire to either. The dream was to build an infrastructure where scouts and "connections" would never be needed. Philly would raise and develop all their own talent.....like a farm. How much longer are you willing to wait for that end-product? Our situations are likely different of course, but going on 8 years in........I'm sorry......but I'm about all out of patience.

Ugh. Curtin said they're not just going to go and make 8 changes to the starting lineup, and I finally have to agree with him: we probably do need more than 8 changes to make this roster and formation competitive.
