what Kazoo said. I watched the son on youtube, it seems like he's never really matured. i figured he wasn't going to Pitt as he seems nestled in the Dallas ECNL money. Nepotism is also bad with spouses, creating barriers and isolation. The players have no independent voices/ears to turn to as even the second assistant is outnumbered, outranked, scared. I know the SayHeyKids appear successful this year while they audition for UNC. However, I'd think Tiffany should be held accountable to be just as successful without the wife. The nepotism thing projects power pulpit, agenda, selfishness. UCF is overvalued as Tiff can put all that US national team member on all their propaganda compared to anybody else in their shabby conference. They also have more athletic department funding/backing due to P5 neighbors (as you can see from football success). I feel bad for Dr. Flogaties. He took a huge gamble moving his family to Pittsburgh to vulture Miller from the inside. Then he nervously dressed like Santa at the team party, Backfired. It's a tight secondary school phys ed teaching market around there too. But he should be able to bag it and supplement with Riverhounds or whatever.
My daughter was coached by the Minnesota assistant at acamp. She was very good! From what I understand her husband is a successful coach too with the DA of the local MLS team. I do not think there is much of a club scene for him in North Dakota but who knows. Very sure she would be excellent job there.

I think you're missing the Towson hiring of former Loyola HC Katherine Vettori. Not sure of the status of Ball State and Northern Illinois, both mentioned as possibly open several posts back.
Rodriguez confirmed for UConn. Good for her and worked well for Driscoll at Princeton. By my count this is the 4th job this year to have flipped from a male to a female. http://www.uconnhuskies.com/sports/w-soccer/spec-rel/010218aaa.html
I think that will end up being a decent hire. Following up on a post from last week Ball State will not be opening for the time being. Coach is being kept on a short leash but admin decided not to severe ties.
Just admit you were wrong about Driscoll even being a candidate and move on. God, don't you know when to quit?
UConn was all over Driscoll, McNeil from Brown, Ryan from Rutgers and Wilkin from Wisconsin. None wanted it. Why did it take so long to hire MR? You think she was 1st choice?
My point is/was is that I said Driscoll turned their feeler down flat, right away. But elements in here try to lie that it even made the interview/offer stage, prompting a counter form Princeton. buuul sheet. Driscoll no way risks that cushy Princeton gig.
Official now at Towson http://www.towsontigers.com/news/2018/1/3/vettori-named-head-womens-soccer-coach.aspx
Sorry buddy. UConn had SD to campus and he thought about it, but Princeton upped the ante to keep him. Don’t forget, he’s from CT. Born and raised. Problem is that UConn talks like they’re the Yankees and act like they’re the Mets. Penny pinching program in a mid major conference. Worked out well for everyone. MR gets a well deserved shot. SD gets a well deserved raise.

25th position now open, Cal State Bakersfield. https://gorunners.com/news/2018/1/5/Womens_Head_Coach_To_Resign.aspx
Naah, none of those two-bit situations would compel him to leave Cali by choice. His twitter is philosophizing about leaving one's "comfort zone". Another coaching Shakespeare with the books. So, what's his pleasure? Typically I'd chalk this up as a "cookie jar" resignation wrapped in "new opportunities". But, no, I don't think its that as he hasn't stopped tweeting. Maybe he's going to expand that "coaching company"...hehe...this industry...always looking for an angle...
I actually thought of recalling my post ...Bakersfield going to Big West next year? maybe school was ready for a new direction....Bakersfield is a hard sell and place to live not to mention a mid 60s salary...
Ya, no party life according to niche. His departure looks abrupt on second look at twitter. Maybe they said he was too occupied with his "coaching company" or whatever it is and not focused on the skool job. His twitter actually dedicates very little to that team. And they stunk. I can see that happening.
Umm, he was COY in the WAC in 2016! My guess is that he left on his own. With the conference switch, the road to even the conference tournament just got considerably harder. Even that being said....he went for COY in 2016 to not making the 2017 conf tournament...writing may have been on the wall!
It’s Bakersfield There are few if any that would chalk that up as a “Cali” destination. Total Shithole Almost any job on that list would be at least an even swap. Especially considering the cost of living and the Tax situation
Guru, good questions about UConn. No way MR was the top choice. Was only given a short term contract so that doesn't show much faith at all. If she does well she will get an extension I suppose. If she doesn't do well expect that job to be open again at the end of 2019 or 2020 and then they'll try their best to not botch the hire at that time.
