Either way his contract is until June.
So he's not anymore the Antlers players and just 6 months deal? What is this and is not even a first division club If would have been Las Palmas ok, but Tenerife?
If it's true that he's on loan of course he's an Antlers players. We'll see at the press conference. As for the club ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ask his agent what the heck he's doing. Better hope for him that the club is at least promoted
Very disappointing. Should have stayed in the J. At least I enjoyed his play a lot of time, not like Okugawa who played just a game for Sanga and gone.
I guess he enjoyed the Canary Islands! Travelling there with the intent to sign for Las Palmas, and then after that's not working out he choose their local rival from the neighbour island Would be nice to get Tenerife up to La Liga. It's a nice rivalry between the 2 island clubs. Went to a derby while I lived there a couple of years ago, and the atmosphere was better than a lot more renowned stadiums/matches I've been to.
2 points to promotion zone. It seems they can really been promoted to La Liga. Let's hope Shibasaki will be a protagonist.
The club said that there is "an option for renewing" but it's still a little unclear in what terms (as in, it's not clear if his agent can say no). I don't think he is on loan though as he did his medicals today and the spanish window is already closed. The PK is going on now, nothing interesting.
I don't think that's tell-tale of anything. As long as you sort out an ITC before the deadline, medicals can come afterwards.
You also have to deposit the contract in your football federation. Here's a famous funny one... It would be a huge leap of faith for any club to do that before taking medicals. Also, apparently the renew options lights on if the club gets to La Liga.
That's exactly what I'm saying. But the spanish press had reported for a while that he was coming on loan which is what I found hard to believe. If you search on twitter you should find something. Sorry, I should have been more clear.

http://www.marca.com/en/football/spanish-football/2017/02/10/589e2aec22601d165e8b46ef.html According to Marca, Shibasaki is homesick already, and wants to move back to Japan. http://www.eldesmarque.com/futbol/l...dolid-sin-aitor-sanz-rachid-inaki-y-shibasaki According to the Tenerife manager, he is just suffering from stomach problems. And that he should be training next week.
Reports from Spain continue to coming out. Shibasaki wants home. Doesn't like the Spanish food. I understand him, it's very difficult to be far away from home, especially as his life in Japan was very good. No reason to make you unhappy when you have all you want at home.
I have a hard time buying those "reports". No reason not to believe what the manager says. Besides, Spanish food is extremely popular in Japan.
Let's wait and see what happens on the 18. He's physically sick at the moment and that has nothing to do with adaptation. We'll see. If he comes back we can put him in the pussy room above Yamaguchi. Unrelated, Tenerife has been really, really annoying on social media, bragging about the increased followers and so on.
Nowadays japanese players find really creative way to desert their job. "I can't speak spanish" and "I don't like Spanish food" are the trend.
I'm harsh for players running away at the first obstacle? Even Kakitani proved up to be a man enduring it for a while under an inept coach.
I was high on Hotaru but I loved that Vahid gave him shit for returning so quickly. Other players who fought through ups and downs really grew tremendously, like Osako, Gotoku, Hasebe.
