So...we are second in this group. Who are we going to face next?

Not our best game. We lost against one of the favourites tho. We'll play against Portugal or Iran most probably.

It was a tactical mistake by STY. He risked by using a untrained formation with new players, which didn't work out. But this defeat could be a good lesson for the team.

Good if we face Iran, not so good if we face Portugal.

We have a good record against Portugal, but not so good against Iran. I'd rather have Portugal tbh.

Watch it again. The three central defenders were in the correct positions. On the other hand, HCH lost his man and stopped running. Lee SeungMo arguably should have covered HCH's marker once HCH lost him but didn't. However, the space opened up for England because HCH blew his defensive responsibility in covering his marker who scored the goal.

One thing about STY is that he's ruthless with his substitutions after mistakes leading to goals. He did it in the Argentina match. He did it again tonight.

I don't want Korea to collide with Italy.

HCH should just stay on the bench...

If there's one thing I wish we did differently tonight, I wish we did not play Cho YW for the full 90 minutes and rested him.

Agree. Especially with today's tactics, he was pretty much useless but only lost condition.

I was wrong. We had drawn against Portugal in U20 2013. I had in memories that we had won.
This year, Portugal has been disappointing tho so far.

We can be glad with that qualification for the next round in a high level group. But I must say that our last 2 performances have been really disappointing (especially in the 2nd half).
The midfielders were often outclassed and have shown nothing exciting.
Fortunately we could rely on Lee Seung Woo and a awesome goalie.

I am speaking of a team that many thought they could go all the way. I hope STY have planned something more interesting for the next match. Wanting to play on counter attack against an opponent way faster and powerful than Korea was obviously not the good strategy.

The good news is LSW should cut off that awful 'SW' in his hair since they won't have "six wins" in all the cases to reach the final.

No, it is more than a tactical mistake or suicide if the team & players weren't trained in this formation for the past month or two when they were together. It is flat out stupid... To throw players out there in such condition is just..

Anyways, team played 3-5-2 in the past.. and well, it was nothing more than a tactical mistake by Shin TY. I'm sorry but this team didn't play better or worse than what you see from senior NT under Stielike. If Korea continues to progress in this tournament... it will be because of Lee SW & not Shin TY.

#20? He was in the right position...

#3, Woo CY (the player who you think was amazing vs Guinea) got destroyed... while Han CH & Lee SM didn't bother to track. Those 3 were responsible for the goal. The wingbacks were nothing but liability throughout the whole game (the whole tournament imo)...

As for Han CH, as much as I rate him.. he didn't have a good game. he was okay when he received the ball (early mins of the game & later around 37th min) but he was flat out anonymous throughout. He wasn't influential & just looked sluggish.
