Kwon Kyung Won is not that bad. He had made a mistake yesterday, but normally he is not as bad as KYK/JHS. KKW/KMJ line for me.
It's always the same damn cycle: "Oh man, STY is shit. Uli 2.0" "Oh we won a game! Dude, I told you were wrong all along! He just needed time" "What the ******** he was shit all along I told you guys" Rinse and repeat for every manager we've had here
Choosing the proper lineup and players is a huge skill that every coach needs. As well as not being able to properly coach defense, Shin is shit at picking lineups (constantly picking Lee Jung Hyup and Hwang Eui Jo over Suk Hyun Jun, calling up Kim Young Gwon over and over although we all know he is not national team level). He does not know who would fit best at what position (Koo playing Striker next to Son against Serbia was awful, Lee Chung Yong being played as wing back although he is shit at defending). It doesn't mean shit if you choose the proper tactics against the team (like against Colombia) when you choose players who would do awfully in that specific position. Finally, Shin is atrocious with subs. He is too scared to sub out certain players for new ones in important games or does not know when's the right time to sub a player out for another. Every good coach (even Stielike during 2015 Asian Cup) knew when was right to sub out a player for another. For example in the World Cup Qualifiers, Shin did not take out awful players and instead decided to take out a defender (who was doing decent enough) for another defender very late into the game.
STY "Our performance was perfect against China. Im sad that the result makes it look like the opposite." What an idiot.
STY just doesn't have the tools between his ears. Remember the sinking feeling you feel in the depths of your gut when you read STY saying 2-2 game against China was "perfect." More is coming.... we better get used to it.
