    Haha Florida.
You just got bit by the virus going around NCAA soccer (targeting Top 5 ranked teams).
This is looking like the comparative season to the 2007 College Football (gridiron) season.

Notes on the 2018 NWSL Draft:

    - This is arguably the most "Balanced" class in NWSL History. It is not the Best.
    - It is so balanced because of the number of forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers.
    - Usually in previous drafts, it was dominated by 2 of those 4 main positions on the field.
    - Listed above: 9 forwards, 8 midfielders, 8 defenders, 3 goalkeepers, and 2 misc. studs.
    - This is the best draft class BYU has ever had, yet they are struggling on the field right now.
    - Outside of Rebecca Quinn, the most pro ready defensive player is Morgan Wolcott.
    - Wolcott is big & tall, strong, athletic, and smart. very organized.
    - Most people don't know who Ani Sarkisian is. They will, if she decides to enter the draft.
    - Rachel Corboz is better than her sister already, and has more room to develop.
    - Casey Murphy is a dark-horse candidate to be the starting goalkeeper for the USWNT in 2019.

This is a solid draft class overall (very balanced though by position), but the underclassmen will be better. Lots of young studs out there, especially at Stanford, UCLA, Florida State, etc.

Yes Wisconsin played excellent defense, but it was hardly a park the bus type of game. Though the run of play did transition back and forth, Wisconsin clearly had its fair share if not the advantage. Frankly only one out of their numerous (6?) corner kicks was dangerously served. I mean seriously Paula you can't find someone to drive the ball to your towering center backs' heads? If they had decent service there could easily have been more scoring. Virginia did not look particularly dangerous. Perhaps if they could have stayed on side especially during a desperate last 15 minutes, but they didn't. The Wisconsin goal was very well taken although it was a singular effort from Rhodes.

Saw second half of the Southern Cal - missouri game last night. Apparently, the first half was competitive with both teams missing a couple of opportunities to score. Southern Cal scored early in the 2H and bossed the rest of the game, winning 2-0. Looks like a very solid Trojan team.

Very physical game...mizzou had 18 fouls to USC 5. Much like last year, USC felt out Mizzou the first half (and was sloppy doing it) then made adjustments. 2 Goals in 6 minutes to start 2nd half and it was pretty much done from there

Your daughter sucks bro. She couldn't stop either of those simple goals. Keep focusing on my player. They seem to be doing fine. Let's see if Murphys starts the next game. Clearly Collins isn't a gamer. Must take after her dad.

Sarcasm? They got beat 2-0 at home by a (very good) Princeton team today.

    Dude. C'mon man.
    This is not cool.

I get on here and play the villain role and say controversial things, and take abuse for it, by design.
But no one should ever "call out" a soccer player on this board to a parent the way you just did.
That goes beyond crossing the line (and far exceeding that line into another dimension).

This quote deserves a blue card on top of the red card.
The blood is blue before it turns to red, and sometimes that blue blood can be cold.

    Who's the dummy now?

She has roughly 400 minutes of shutout streak in goal currently, and still going.
5 out of her last 6 matches have been clean sheets.

UCLA currently up by 1. Good crowd tonight! It’s interesting to see the players in a tent “locker room” since this new stadium isn’t complete yet.

UCLA did not look good in Florida, but they've struggled before against Pepperdine in the past. This was not a guaranteed victory tonight.

Yeah I thought it would be a good fight since last season they tied Pepperdine at home and it was a frustrating battle but Pepperdine didn't truly show up tonight for whatever reason. We had a harder time with Long Beach. I'm glad because we should be smooth sailing until Stanford in late September. We didn't see her tonight but I'm assuming we'll have Fleming back on the pitch next match until WWC qualifiers.
