Some people trying to put Ayton over Luka, but I'm not buying it. Luka first overall is the easiest pick I'll make if I'm a GM. Ayton is uncomfortably close to comparing to Okafor with how terrible his rim protection and help-defence is.
THIS was the game I've been waiting for all series! Punch, counterpunch, both teams clawing like heck to win! Great game!
I'll bet against Cleveland tonight and you can try also Boston Celtics Money Line @ 20/21 Over 206.0 Total Points @ 10/11
Tomorrow will be the first time Lebron's team is facing elimination in an Eastern Conference playoff round since 2013.
It would be a nice change of pace for the Celtics to make it. EDIT: Actually, wouldn't it be the first time since a couple weeks ago? Indiana?
Oh yeah, of course. Haha! I overlooked it because I was initially looking for when the last time his team was down 3-2 in an Eastern playoff round. The answer to that is 2012, but of course there were 2 times his team faced elimination since then: 2013 and 2018. Both of those cases "just" required a home win in game 7 though.
Credit to the Rockets, especially Paul. They bled and died for that win on the court. Just extraordinary hunger to win this one. As much as I hate "they wanted it more", the Rockets legit wanted it more.
Thought they were going to throw it away. Some of the shot selection by Houston was appalling! Once Paul got injured you knew the Rockets absolutely had to win to have any chance at reaching the final at all.
So if I told you that the Celtics would be in a 7-game series with the Cavs in the ECF, around January-February what would you say?
I would have said that there is no way this Cleveland team with Isaiah Thomas and Jae Crowder makes it to the ECF. And then the trade happened. Addition by subtraction.
No chance. I mean, what Lebron has done in these playoffs. No one can replicate that. I think the Warriors win this.
Of course warriors win They hack that dodgy ref and the nba loves this shorty warriors cavs match up Even lebron will struggle with 4 all stars The nba is wa k as fcuk
Couldn’t be happier about this Warriors team seemingly losing... thought they’d be de facto champs for next 2-3 years but without their depth we see their window closing way quicker than I anticipated. Still could come back if Rockets stop hitting these crazy 3s... but looks like Rox are going to finals based on the game so far. And without CP!
I expect a trademark Warriors 3rd quarter run. Houston will probably be too out of gas to punch back at that point.
Multiple inexcusable shooting fouls on Harden that have not been called as such. Momentum killers for the Rockets. The Warriors tilt is very real.
Third quarter strikes again... still a good game but looks like Warriors did what they needed to do. Missed fouls on Harden and that moving screen on Curry three are frankly inexcusable calls. Then Durant gets touched and goes to the line. Awful refereeing.
