Seems like kind of a douche, and I'll never forget how he hamfistedly hacked his way into Bayern, but I appreciate the years he gave Dortmund and he maintained his professionalism in performing well even after he already knew Bayern was his future.

Wow... The Lakers played NBA-calibre defence for most of this game against a playoff team. Totally unexpected.

EDIT: And LOL at Gortat talking trash on twitter about how Wall was going to "torture" Lonzo. Neither had a great game, but I think Lonzo outplayed Wall tonight; good distribution, superior rebounding, and mostly solid defence against Wall, despite poor shooting.

Lakers actually have gotten better each game -- first a blowout against a good team, then a weak win/bad performance against a bad team, then a good comeback that they couldn't hold onto after playing poorly against a not that good team, and now a decent overall performance against a good team. #Progress!

Great job by Luke to stay with the defensive switching on high picks... it may not work most times, but Randle made great contests on lots of Wiz players (especially Wall) at the end of the game and those stops were a huge part of the win.

Randle is a good defender when actually locked-in. I hope he continues to be focused and prove coach Walton wrong for starting Nance over him. I also like the small-ball personnel we have for switching. Lonzo Ingram, Caldwell-Pope all have good length and height to fight against and bother bigs who attempt to exploit them in switches, while Randle and Nance/Kuzma have decent lateral quicks to stay with perimeter players.

Yeah surely your best 5 is ball. Pope. Kuzma. Randle and Lopez? U can go 4 or 5 our on offence and switch on d

Lopez hasn't yet really looked that good in a Laker uniform thus far in the regular season. Not sure if that's because he's struggled to adjust to the faster pace of the offence, or what, but he needs to be better because on paper he's our best player. He isn't that mobile and isn't good defensively at switching onto perimeter players. Offensively Luke needs to find the right balance between using Lopez to space the floor and using him as a post-up threat. Kuzma realistically isn't going to supplant Ingram because Ingram is a 2nd overall pick and Kuzma is a late 1st, even though you could make the case on merit.

Randle's one of my favorite youngsters. But let's be honest, he fouled Wall at the end of OT, Lakers are lucky that a non-call can't be reversed upon replay. Still, Washington should not have even allowed it to get to OT.

I think there's a strong case to be made that that's an offensive foul on Wall, TBH. As Wall is going up, his elbow laid into Randle's face. Randle literally can't go straight up because Wall's elbow hit Randle's face to force him back.

Looked like good d to me. Then again in today's league maybe it is a foul because the way the game is called today is kind of pathetic. Wall probably feels he should have got the call, I would need to see a replay but at the time it looked like a good contest.

I stand corrected. L2M report called it same way. I can now in good conscience secretly wish the Dubs steal away Randle for the bench when he becomes a FA.

I hope Randle continues his fantastic play and the Lakers resign him.

So Griffin shooting three's, am I right? :ROFLMAO:

I don't think this team has had as much fun ever since CP's first season.

Also I would lose it, if Doc would pull the trigger on the Bledsoe deal and send Austin in Phoenix (I know, I know). Bled, Griffin and DJ on the same team in their prime? Nostalgia.

He hit the big three at the end but he was a beast down low all game getting to the rim, posting up, drawing fould. All of you haters whining about how you don't like watching the new style NBA should get (back) on the Blake train. This is gonna be a good year for him now that CP3 has left.

Well done, Beal. Get your fingers in Draymond's mouth and bait him into a T. Well played.

Brook Lopez just doesn't fit what we do. And we need Lonzo to be more aggressive; he needs to look for his shot. Randle needs more minutes. And Jordan Clarkson needs a freaking brain.

We look pretty much the same as last year. Sketchy talent, talk of imminent rise to "playoffs" and then.......S.O.S.

Another year wasted. Lonzo 3 yrs away from big impact (maybe). That shot of hisis just butt ugly ridiculous to watch. Luke saying he'll start hitting some is laughable. If he does get hot it's impossible to believe a guy taking flat-footed set shots wont get them slapped away.

Here's hoping we tank and stockpile some picks.

No way LBJ walking into this mess.

Kyle Kuzma please. Skip to the good parts.
