starting a thread for the Open Cup this year. Third round draw was held today, MLS enters in round 4.

there are 3 potential match ups that could face KC, one more so than others.

Rayo OKC plays te OKC Energy/MS Brilla winner
    Minnesota plays St. Louis/Cleveland winner
The last one is San Antonio FC vs Corinthians FC of SA playing Tulsa/Des Moines winner.

The last one I only see happening if Tulsa/DM win, especially DM

Draw is today for the fourth round. STL, OKC, and DM all won. My money would still be on us playing STL/MN winner

Team schedule says "watch online." They're not going to send a broadcast truck and full crew to Minnesota for an early round Open Cup match against an NASL team.

I'm thankful for even a YouTube feed, we didn't always have even that. On the other hand, how else would I have developed my superpower of finding the F5 key blindfolded?

    Survive and advance.

Fifth Round draw happens today, which involves putting the remaining 16 teams in to four geographical lots and then pulling two fixtures from each lot. The Fifth Round winners will then play their geographical lot counter part in the Quarter Finals, so today's draw will tell us our Fifth Round and potential Quarter Final matchups.

Fifth Round is to be played June 29th.
Quarter Finals to be played July 20th.

As far as speculation of geographical lots is concerned, it would make the most sense to split them up like this:

West: Los Angeles Galaxy, Seattle Sounders, Portland Timbers, Real Salt Lake
North: Chicago Fire, Columbus Crew, Sporting Kansas City, Colorado Rapids
South: Houston Dynamo, FC Dallas, Orlando City, Fort Lauderdale Strikers
East: New York Cosmos, Philadelphia Union, New England Revolution, New York Red Bulls

In which case our Fifth Round and Quarter Final opponents would be pulled from {Chicago, Colorado, Columbus}.

The other possibility is splitting out the middle two groups a little differently:

West-ish: Colorado Rapids, Sporting Kansas City, FC Dallas, Houston Dynamo
East-ish: Chicago Fire, Columbus Crew, Fort Lauderdale Strikers, Orlando City

In which case our Fifth Round and Quarter Final opponents would be pulled from {Colorado, Houston, Dallas}.

So long story short, we'll be facing someone out of {Colorado, Chicago, Columbus, Houston, Dallas} for the next two rounds.
