any of our youth scouts here can give a summary on their opinion on this team or individual players?

I know Dalot after watching him impress at our U17 win this year.

Just a brief comment and will give some more info closer to the tournament

This 1997 generation should've won the u17s 2 years ago. They lost the semi final in a very dominant performance in every facet of the game besides the scoresheet(remind you of another Portuguese side) against eventual champions England. Renato Sanches & Ruben Neves ran the show and it was this tournament that convinced me of their quality. While not having those 2 in this side is a massive loss there still remains much quality in Dias, P.Rodrigues, Carvalho, Goncalves, Silva and Delgado to name a few. It's a tough group they are in but they have the quality to once again be a contender.

No Jose Gomes? I predict epic fail, Also why the hell isn't Ruben Neves on the squad =s He's been on his ass all summer, Santos will never start Renato so he should be here as well.

Yeah we'll probably win this all because CR isn't on the team and is a cancer that causes Portugal to lose all their games. Thank god he's not there!

Dias with a mistake early on to give Germany's Ochs a goal. After which João Carvalho had two good chances to score. After another defensive mistake Germany hit the crossbar with a great shot. On the '37 minute the ball fell kindly for Ankrah to level the game.

Like the look of João Carvalho, Gonçalo Rodrigues, Pedro Delgado and Ankrah.

Ankrah was born in Ghana and played for Kumasi Corners Babies before moving to Portugal where he was raised by an adopted family.

Love how we get so many people from different countries playing for us!

    Germany 1 Portugal 1 HT.

Dalot gives a little push which the Germany player makes the most of it, not a penalty but Germany score through Ochs (his second).

    Germany 2 Portugal 2
