45+2' 1-0 Solaun chases down a chip to 1m wide right, juggles waist-high to keep ball in -- but Henning spins at box (her) left and shields her off.

45+3' 1-0 Arsenal go up wide left, somehow lose it. Seattle backpass to Barnes(?) at circle back left, quick chip to Solaun at 27m box right, lifts waist-high one-touch right outstep pass for Nielsen chasing through box top right, to 13m. Right foot hop half-volley on the run, sails way high.

HT 1-0. Seattle plays the clip of them ambushing Little with the BBC WFotY award  Wait -- Reign locker room is set up like a -- movie theater??

Just popping in to say firstly, thanks @Gilmoy for your constant hard work with the PBPs and secondly, please can Harvey give Solaun more time on the pitch?

48' 1-0 Fletcher tries to shield Oshoala from own 25m mid-right toward own box top, speed wins, Oshoala passes her on the left-hand side, takes ball to box top and flicks just over bar.

52' 1-0 Arsenal bounce ball into box mid-left, switch right to Nobbs unmarked through box top right to 14m 6-right. Bad clang forces her to chase own ball, she shoots high.

54' 1-0 High ball drops to arc top center, Cruz (at LCB) goes up to head away, Van de Donk runs in and jump-tucks a right shoulder strike into Cruz's chest. Bot go down, foul, yellow card on Van de Donk.

60' 1-0 Fletcher outlets to Dallstream at circle back mid-left. Dallstream spins within 3, square pass right to Elston cutting through circle center. Elston dribbles to 30m arc left, diagonal pass to 14m mid-right for Nielsen is just a biut too far, van Veenendaal collects.

63' 1-0 Losada turns down to 5m mid-left on Fletcher, cuts inside and runs self into Fletcher not giving ground, clotheslined by Fletcher's left arm held out. Foul, pk.

64' 1-1 Arsenal pk, #7 Natalia Pablos Sanchon right instep just inside left post low, beats Kopmeyer's dive.

65' 1-1 Arsenal attacking with much more efficacy this half, reach arc top mid-left. Fletcher clears ball from 8m mid-left, clips Van de Donk down into a roll, not called. Dallstream pokes ball past Nobbs at circle back, leads a 2-v-5 break up centerline to 35m -- looks around for support and realizes how alone she is :p Square pass right broken up, Dallstream pokes it past Henning into 12m mid-right. Another chase, van Veenendal slides out and smothers ball, with arms wrapped around Dallstream's right ankle :p Dallstream digs at ball -- no, she's just trying to get her foot out.

68' 1-1 Seattle fk at 22m mid-right, Pickett bends it to 9m 1/5 right, Nielsen cuts inside from the right and shanks off right foot-top, wide right.

70' 1-1 Nobbs distributes to Oshoala at 27m wide right. Oshoala turns, sees no easy cross and Pickett chasing back late, puts head down and charges through 13m box right -- but clangs her last touch to endline mid-right, can't chase it down.

72' 1-1 Seattle pass to box top wide right, square pass to box top center, Nielsen(?) does a spin-away-and-backheel -- whoops, right into defender's shins at box top. Losada turn-shields and wide-steps past circle back, Nielsen outsteps her and clips her landing heel. Foul on Nielsen.

73' 1-1 Losada(?) passes down mid-right to 5m, Oshoala hard ground cross misses somebody at right post, nobody at left post.

74' 1-1 Losada drag-flick at circle top back to Nobbs. Arsenal probe their left, lose it to Kopmeyer.

75' 1-1 Seattle holds at circle back, quickly try a high longball, broken up. Arsenal hoof it back. Seattle turnover in circle center, Arsenal quick pass down mid-right for Oshoala 1-v-1 on Pickett at 4m. Oshoala pokes ball past Pickett along 3m, tries a swim-move, slide-stretches past Pickett's hip and toe-pokes ball off Kopmeyer's fingers. Ball bounces to 4m 1/4 right, Fletcher clears into near touch.

77' 1-1 Corredera leads a counter up centerline to 27m, diagonal pass right to Oshoala sprinting to 4m box right. Oshoala lures Pickett to her, hard ground cross to 4m 3-right, Sanchon cuts center-to-right from 2 and lays off to Nobbs unmarked at 7m right post. One-touch shot blocked by the 2 in her way.

78' 1-1 Seattle shross from ~wide right, floats to van Veenendal at 1m right post.
78' 1-1 Arsenal subs in (6 of 7) #25 Chloe Kelly for #17 Marta Corredera.

She unfortunately doesn't seem to be one of Harvey's favorites. And Harvey would rather play her favorites out of position than give someone not in that group real playing time.

80' 1-1 Attendance 4,083! Seattle fk at 30m wide right, Elston sails it to 6m center. Fletcher bulls way from the left, ducks out of way, #22 Henning already crumpling behind both, stays down on back/side at 6-top. Holding sternum: took an inadvertent elbow on the run?

82' 1-1 Henning resumes. Kelly nods a high bounce past Reed at circle top wide left, drives hard up wide left to box top, pulls up. No it's a fake, Kelly resumes her run down wide left, stumbles past Reed's bump-try, then Reed two-handed(?) shoves her down. Foul, yellow card on Reed. Gallimore calls Reed the "Bully".

83' 1-1 Arsenal fk at 10m wide left, bent to 3m left post far from the designed scrum, Kopmeyer catches.

86' 1-1 Arsenal hoof two longballs to box right foot, both too far for Oshoala. She's a speed problem on that side, like a mini-Thomis.

    87' 1-1 Seattle subs in (7 of 7) #McKenzie Karas for #13 Kendall Fletcher.

88' 1-1 Dallstream turns down wide left to 4m, cross over mouth drops to 2m 3-left, Arsenal head it over.

88' 1-1 Seattle right ck, to 1m right post low, Scott kicks it away. Ball skitters off a Reign player retreating through spot, Elston takes it to box top left. Dallstream chases Scott to endline wide left, Scott pokes it out.

89' 1-1 Van de Donk tries a fast lob from ~27m, drifts wide right and high.

That sounds to conspiratorial for me. Heck Solaun was re-signed even before the start of preseason when her entire rookie season was a wash. So yeah I think Harvey likes her.

As for Solaun, this game was a great one for her but like most of the other players on the pitch you can see why they don't get a lot of playing time against NWSL. Too many unforced errors that teams in this league will make you pay for.
The second half was interesting that way where they showed promised in the build up but made so many unforced error or was easily muscled of the ball.
Come sunday though I'm willing to bet we will see Solaun play atleast 30 minutes

90+2' (of +2') 1-1 Arsenal probe to 25m box right, lose it. Seattle play to circle back, lose it into near touch.

90+2' (of +2') 1-1 Arsenal turn at 25m center, flick high soft bouncer over arc right for Oshoala lurking on the left flank. Oshoala gets shielded off at 8m 6-right, maintains pursuit to 4m mid-right 1-v-2, half-volleys over bar.

90+3' (of +2') 1-1 Arsenal pass to Oshoala at box top, she touches down to 6m mid-right. Hard ground poke past Pickett, Karas clears upfield.

FT 1-1. Seattle's passing obviously fell off after all the passers got subbed out :D. Arsenal got more dangerous.

I really like Solaun because she makes great runs and because she finds those unlocking type deep passes.
Little has found her a couple of times on deep switching passes that remind me of when Naho was here.

Interesting slate of games this weekend with them all being top5-v-bot5 matchups... For the sake of parity, I hope none of the top5 teams do well, though I guess I'd be okay with CHI, ORL, and WNY getting draws (or WNY even winning).

Expected win pct for this weekend, using my Elo ratings based on the xG charts by Chad Murphy (on Twitter @soccermetric ) (also posted in comments at Equalizer):
WNY 2131 expected win pct (.87) over Boston 1852
Houston 2056 (.54) over Washington 2085 (nearly a coin toss)
    Orlando (..80) AT FCKC 2120
    Portland (.85) over Seattle 1854
Chicago (.82) over Sky Blue 1839
    homefield = 50 rating points

Lot of players missing on national team duty, however, and these ratings don't account for it. Also, even without considering the national team players, with expected win percentages from (.80) to (.85), we're expecting an upset every five to seven games at those odds.

Houston vs. Washington has been postponed due to a burgeoning lake on the pitch. And here I was hoping for the teams to break in the new scuba kits.

~04' 0-0 Zerboni square pass right to Salem at 24m arc left, through-ball sends K.Mewis down mid-left to 6m. Hard ground cross to 6-top ~1/3 left, camera shakes vertiginously.

~06' 0-0 Stoppage, Salem kneeling at 24m wide left. Trainer checks her, she walks into near touch.

~07' 0-0 Drop ball, Schoepfer kicks it over endline left.

~08' 0-0 Now Dahlkemper(?) kneels in own box 6-left, Eckerstrom checks her. Resumes at a jog: shoelace?

~09' 0-0 Boston backpass, Kranich boots high to midfield mid-right. WNY volley it back in, Kranich collects.

~10' 0-0 Boston fk at 30m center, chip to 8m mid-right. WNY heads slightly away, Simon(?) bicycle try to right post, Eckerstrom jumps and catches high.

~11' 0-0 Doniak dribbles down wide right, cross bounces to 10m 6-right and Boston clears. WNY long cross from ~24m wide left to 7m center, McDonald tosses somebody down and heads over bar. Foul.

~12' 0-0 WNY more possession, calm switch right and probe down box right, cross blocked over.

~13' 0-0 WNY right ck, bounces around in box and Boston clears into far touch at midfield.

~14' 0-0 WNY left throw-in, down box left for L.Williams, King pokes over endline.

14' 1-0 WNY left ck, to 0.5m left post, bounces away. K.Mewis tries to blast clear, ball skims off teammate's hamstrings and dies at 13m left post. Schoepfer comes center-to-left, tries to softly receive-and-dribble -- but whiffs on the trap, ball drops to T.Smith behind her, and they're going opposite directions. Smith blasts right foot low through heavy traffic, past Kranich expecting(?) a deflection, into 1/3 left back low.

19' 1-0 Scoreclock graphic enters, to applause (and catcalls). WNY right throw-in at 25m, they lose it at arc top. Boston go up wide right, long chip from midfield bounces to Eckerstrom.

20' 1-0 WNY can't advance past own arc top. Pathman runs on at 24m arc left, one-touch blast sails just over left 90.
