NWSL Season 4 enters the double digits [and summer, officially] with a long five-day six-game stretch. Portland and Orlando will each play a weeknight match before clashing in Orlando Sunday afternoon in the first ever NWSL match attended by yours truly. Hope I chose a good one...
Only undefeated team versus only team still perfect at home... certainly sounds like it should be a good one, assuming the teams don't just play it safe and both bunker!
Draw! Draw! Draw! P.S: I just realized I have some powers to influence results. Obviously this doesn't extend to the Reign.
You said that last week and it's what you got. It's like that movie with Sting as the devil. You need to be more specific.
This schedule was made by a Portland Thorns fan and an Alex Morgan fan, so that they could have their WNT players for an extra game before they were called into camp.
Yeah, that's why they have had 33% of their games at home, four matches in a row on the road, and home matches when 8 starters will be at the Olympics.
I would prefer to have my stars during the tough away games to steal some points off of the other teams and hope the replacement players can win the majority of the home games with the fans on their side. Disregard my post. I misread what you were saying.
No. I came close though but couldn't swing it. But I'll be watching. There are some really good and exciting players on both teams. Keep an eye on Erin Gilliland for the Red Stars and tell me in your opinion does she deserve a shot at a USWNT call-up in the near future? I think she does.

If any of you go to an NWSL game and have Jennifer Garner as one of the AR's, just watch her work. She is on that second to last defender like "white on rice", always moving, side-stepping left and right. Always in position to make the call. One of the best AR's I've ever seen. She will be in Orlando this week doing the Pride vs. Dash game.
TBH Im just as interested to see if the Riveters have something special planned for Henry as I am in what should be a really good match.
I would be fine with a draw against the Thorns at Providence Park with an Henry-enhanced midfield. Red Stars started timid against the Thorns at home - hopefully they have their heads right before they get onto the field this time, and don't have to try and play their way into the game.
