Overall not too bad. Never more than 2 games in a row at home. 3 games in a row on the road aroundt he Labor Day weekend but spread over 3 weekend Three 3-games-in-a-week runs. April 9th-16th @FSL, @KC, and Home so travel is as minimal as possible. May 7th-14th Home, Home, @Clb so again minimal travel. Oct 8th-16th @Hou, Home, @Por, probably our toughest run of the year .
will be tough traveling to slc on sat and then kc on wed that 9/13 of April then back home on the 16th against NYRB. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rapids pointless until the end of May/after the break in June, tho hope they'll sneak out a tie or two. The only other schedule issues I see are the whole season with Pablo in charge
Is it cause for concern that I went through the lineup, counting likely and decent possibilities for wins, and only came up with eight?????
You could be right. We only play 3 non playoff teams in the first two months. SJ in the opener and the two RMC games.
If this happens, I don't see Pablo in charge for a whole season. I suspect he is on a short leash, with the first quarter of the season being make or break.
So, finally had a chance to look through the schedule. As usual, I check to see what exciting soccer players might come to visit with other teams. Sat April 2, TFC @Rapids. Italy has a friendly vs. Germany on Tuesday the 29th. If Giovinco is called up, will he play in this game?
8? oooof....hang on.... went back through and came up with 3, all home 28.may phi 18.jun chi 23.oct hou well....prly not hou since they might be contending so 2 and a continued effort into futility...... frfff...two games all season.... even teams I dont care about get more than 2 games a season...
urgh.....cause fsl is worse off than us.....tho I do enjoy their turmoil...and I like that you pick us over them even tho you know we have no chance without wholesale changes
