jesus would've been proud the way he just kept turning his cheek. KJS had a black eye, he's about to have two.
he punches like a little b!tch. but im with mr. sir on this one. come on man - i applaud being calm but how do you just take that?
I remember what Stielike said about our players. "They are too innocent and naive". He should've done something back..
I would have had a big shit grin on my face and laughed it off. Those are weaker bitch punches than what Paulie Malinaggi would try to throw. The flying side kick into the throat is what really disappointed me. If I saw that happen to a teammate, I would have rushed over and lost it on the Uzi kid. LOL at Uzibekitstan trying to go so hard...
Yeah I guess not. I hope the Uzi player will get banned permanently, which I doubt will happen though.
The majority of the first half is the sort of football we want our U-22's to play. I probably say this too many times but I really like Choi Moon-shik. He has to be in the shadows of Lee Gwang-jong which is a shame but its probably because of the lack of results he gets compared to man that knows how. It was similar to the England Toulon match he managed. If Im remembering correctly, in the England match he didnt play with a recognized striker (and at that time either Cho Suk-jae or Kim Hyun was the forwards at that time). In the Uzbekistan match he did similar with Moon Chang-jin, Kim Seung-jun & Han Eui-kwon all interchanging positions in the match. Although for majority it was Han Eui-kwon (LW), Moon Chang-jin (FW) & Kim Seung-joon (RW). Kim Seung-joon was obviously the standout for me throughout the match (Mind you I had crappy stream in first half so at times it was difficult to pick out who was who). Lee Chang-min was equally impressive in the first half & he was able to roam forward as Kim Sun-woo & Lee Woo-hyeok shielded the midfield. The second half was putting the foot off the pedal imo. We had substitutions and werent really into the match in second half (with the physical & wild Uzbeks to top it off). We still had chances in second half but overall we lacked the desire in second half. We did give away several chances (including first half). Iskanderoff, the captain & who played in AC, was the main threat. Our players (especially the midfielders) had to mark him down but couldnt do with 1 player at most times. Gave away alot of FK's which they were dangerous with. In that regards I want to mention another standout - GK Kim Dong-jun which is no surprise considering how well he does whenever he plays. He was calm and assuring whenever the Uzbeks came to our box.
No way in hell I would've just stood there, it would've been the end of his career for the Uzbek player:
Thanks for the post match analysis Jitevra, I thought I was gonna be able to hold my ground and watch this before I slept but kept phasing in and out, but luckily I was able to catch the start of the match till the goal scoring segment.
Respect to the Korean player for not reacting, the Uzbek should get banned for a considerable amount of time.
The problem is not that the players don't retaliate at that moment. The problem is that you won't even see retribution challenges later in the game. If the opposing side knows there's a chance they can get studs to their calves when they least expect it that will keep them honest.
KFA "The Uzbek player needs a reasonable discipline...we will send an official complaint" -Reasonable playing ban to the Uzbek player -Protective measures to prevent future similar happenings in future -A reasonable explanation of why it happened This complaint will be sent to the organizers (of the event) & the FA will react according to how the organizers play it out. http://sports.news.naver.com/sports...&mod=read&office_id=108&article_id=0002383760
