i feel like our players across the different age levels play too conservatively. when there are multiple options for a pass, too many players too consistently choose the safer option. it kills any edge we had in attacking a backpedaling defense. while we pass to keep possession, the defense gets into shape and applies pressure on the ball. apart from a handful of our players who has the composure to maintain possession, the ball eventually gets to a player who has a poor touch or off pass and we give away possession.
Im not sure how this could be a friendly tournament. Its been very physical and now Uzbek's have 1 player sent off with a kung-fu kick on Kang Sang-woo.
Second red for Uzbekistan. I wonder why these Uzbeks have been very hot and wild towards our players. I dont remember bad feud between these groups.
No, that's too harsh. It was just a stupid and immature decision by him. He is young, so hopefully, he will learn to think before he acts.
Unfortunately couldn't get up for this one. I woke up, looking for the highlights of the game and all I find is bunch of videos where Uzbek player delivering a triple punch combination our player, lol Anyways, how was our play itself?
I think @mr.sir sums it up very well. Our players need to be more ambitious. Also, too many miscommunications between the players.
Moving the video that melon posted... Fifa should come down hard on the uzis for acting like hooligans on the pitch.
how does a grown man not do anything after getting three to the face.. credit that he stayed calm but not exactly what i want to see after multiple lashings out by uzbeki players. i feel like korea's been responsible for several uzbeki eliminations from qualifiers/tourneys the past 5 years..
