    1. I would take a Supporter's Shield at this point.
    2. There are so many roster spots to be filled that the potential (chance) ((maybe)) for new talent is through the roof!!

    SuperDraft is tomorrow!

The last time the Revs had the #10 pick, they got Kevin Alston (2009).

I am optimistic that some day I will be dead, and thus freed from the cruel, Tantalus-like existence that is Revs fandom.

There are some truly epic thoughts going on here!
That's the spirit! Always looking for that silver lining! A frown is just a smile turned upside-down.
You're not as think as you drunk I am. Or something like that.
Yeah, but the problem with the Krafts is that all they think about is prophets. That's the only think that matters to them!

No news on the Portugal front for a while. Maybe it is because Burns is busy negotiating a contract and it's still hush-hush until all the Ts are dotted and the Is are crossed!

C'mon Mikey, we know you can do it!

C'mon Doc, this thread was always a joke. Hill starts an "optimism" thread? Seriously?

Au contraire, mon ami! I am indeed serious! Who doesn't feel the excitement building for the upcoming season? I know Burns is out there working tirelessly to bring in the players we need to make a deep run in the Audi MLS Cup playoffs presented by Heineken. I remember when Heaps was first hired, they said, and I paraphrase, "Some times a team might beat us, but NO ONE will out work us!"

What more evidence do you need? Burns is on it, and he is going to keep on working until he stops and we will have our full complement of budget compliant resources in camp when it opens next week!

I will be optimistic on the day it is announced that the Krafts are selling and a super rich new owner who loves soccer is buying NER. Otherwise, in 2035 there will be reports that the Krafts are seriously looking for a new stadium.

Sporting told Mikey that he could sign Gerson, for $1,000 and a 2nd round draft pick, as long as he could finish a full and delicious dish of Lampreia........But, as with WC shots, Burns just couldn't keep it down.

The kit launch for Feb. 11th should be something to look forward to.
