Thanks. And in the spirit of good sportsmanship I would like to wish ya'll good luck in the quarterfinals.
Oh Cubo... we have a hard time letting our idols go, when was the last time he was good, 2015? in MLS? Can we blame rotaciones or na?
I'll post without having read the entire thread, but these three things stood out: 1. Horrible substitutes. I won't blame him on the starting line-up as it was a gamble and as Vasco Aguirre said, "Siempre ocupas un cambio revulsivo" Potro hoped Chucky would be his, but he definitely substituted the wrong players out and much too late. 2. que ch*** su maiz all this bs about "procesos" plenty of players left out the entire process that could have made a difference. Especially this match, we had virtually no options coming through the middle, and you're telling me Chofis or Orbelin wouldn't have made a difference?? 3. And finally, this is what happens when Mexico continuously buys into it's own ego. Just as Manuel Sol said the entire freaking match (and against Fiji too) Mexico played with no urgency. and just to reiterate, #PotroOUT
Chucky was the biggest disappointment for me both in this tournament and in the CAC. Did nothing good at all when he was needed the most.
Let's see what meme Potro is going to tweet next. Also peep the mentions, lol Escucha siempre a los expertos. Te dicen lo que no se puede hacer, y por qué. LUEGO HAZLO!R. A. HeinleinAGO 11#SomosMexico#Vamosportodo— RAULGTZ.® (@Potropegaso21) August 10, 2016
wtf are you talking about? all we're saying is that cubo is being shat on while chucky is being praised when one played better than the other smh
We had tons of bad luck and even more bad form from many players. Only positives were Guti and Montes. Hopefully Montes gets his starting spot back and continues to develop. Guti will go back to his spot but now he needs to try and establish himself as a senior player going forward. He should try and compete for Guardis spot now because he was terrible this summer and Guardis is about to "retire" to MMLS.
and to think he was played and picked ahead of Gio in CA. I'm sure Gio declined because he was told that he would be riding the bench behind CHucky. pura porqueria del FMF y los promotores.
Potro needs to be held acoubtable. He couldn't rally up a decent group of players. I do not recall seeing a good Mexico game under his tenure.
pelotazos to the wings and pray that our wide players i.e. Lozano to do something is shite tactic. an amateur manager could have think of that.
This might be the decline of all Mexican NT's. 7-0 and now this. I know that people say this a lot, but i think it is a point that becomes more and more valid every day: Tigres, Wilas, Monterrey, and other teams playing with up to 9 or 10 players not born in Mexico will eventually take its toll. It's bound to. Rant/
He's never been this prolific goalscorer....he's proven to be a good player when linking up and passing off to open up play...which is what he did in this game.
