He's on the fourth officials roster so this is either one of the regularly-scheduled "trial" centers or an appointment of necessity. Bourdeau did a few games in the middle last year, as well. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
I'm glad to see Bourdeau in the middle. He's got Juan Carlos with him, it is on a Wed., so it is not an emergency appointment or anything. Last year they held the "trial" appointments till the end of the season, and that kind of backfired. So I think its smart that they do them 6 weeks in on Wed games in cities with small crowds.
Are you look at the wrong week? He's in the middle in DC with Craig Lowry as one of the assistants on Saturday.

Yep. I was looking at Sigba's game. My bad. Look, I try to say something nice about PRO, and it backfires!
Unsurprisingly maybe, Chapman has now been taken off the RSL Vancouver game, Ismail Elfath now doing it.
He's now running a USL game Orange County Blues v San Antonio FC Anteater Stadium (9:00pm ET) REF: ALLEN CHAPMAN AR1: Alexander Luttmann AR2: Adrian Gonzalez 4TH: Ceciah Valero
Read a story on ESPNFC where Walton said that Chapman asked to be removed from his MLS assignment this week. Too much pressure and public scrutiny after missing that call.
That was my guess based on my gut instincts and a particular tweet I read. Sent from my LGLS996 using Tapatalk
Not sure if this makes him stronger or weaker than Howard Webb. I realize the WC Final is not the same as an MLS league match. PH
This first goal in the Dynamo v Galaxy game seems to be clearly offside. Looks like the AR makes the mistake of noticing the offside (he hesitates and almost puts his flag up) but just not going with his gut. What do you guys think?
Who's offside? There are two moments to consider - the touch immediately after the corner kick, and then the cross itself. On the touch just after the corner kick, the Galaxy player on the post keeps the corner kick taker onside. On the cross, it's very close, but I think the Dynamo player is onside. Edit - there's also a third moment - there's a Dynamo player alongside the goalscorer who I think is just ahead of him when the header happens, but doesn't touch the ball. The question then is does he interfere with the opponent, and I'm not sure that's the case.
Looks to me as though the player who heads it home is off. I'll recant the "clearly offside" from my original post but you can definitely tell that the AR second guessed himself.
Late in CLB vs NYC, CLB defender Tyson Wahl commits DOGSO-F in the box, leading to a PK< however Unkel ends up sending off Michael Parkhurst. Crazy mistake which shouldn't have happened as there was no one around him to be confused with. I'm assuming this ends up with the card being overturned due to mistaken identity? Salazar finally gets another game and he ends up having to do it in a driving snow storm. I thought Boudreau was OK in DC. That was a tough match to deal with given the amount of wrestling going on for every ball. Certainly no major mistakes as far as I could tell.
